Guys, I don't trust Nwabali one bit.

A friend who knows him from his days at Lobi Stars, Benue Makurdi, opined that he gambles. Whenever he is in the starting eleven, he must concede, so fans took note and started placing their bets. Lobi Stars started conceding.

The Libyan goalkeeper conceded a cheeky goal against Cape Verde. A clear case of gambling.

Looking closely at the Nwabali schoolboy error, it smells of gambling all over it.

He should sit on the bench in our last game.

I don't trust him one bit.
And the clean sheets he has had for us and in the PSL? No gambling then abi

If una no take things to the extreme to destroy person image in the name of "concerned fan" Una no go rest

But Peseiro couldn't win these teams! Una no dey see?

Where the phucck was Nigeria before Chelle? 3 points in 4 games! NO GAMES WON! NO GAMES WON!

This is not the time to play beautiful football, how many days have they gotten to train before matches, 3 at most, sometimes 2... JUST WIN YOUR EFFING games first, qualify and then there'll be enough time to discuss tactics and shit.

Them carry two coaches messes give new coach and he's done well so far but fans still dey find wetin no loss. Yes Chelle has been making some funny decisions here and there, but he's the one, HE'S THE ONE still keeping those calculators on your hands till present. It's like y'all don't know this man hasn't lost a game with the Super Eagles after 8 games played. REST IN JESUS NAME! REST!
Thank you brother..
I just dey SMH as I dey read the guy's ideology...
How can you say JP is better than Chelle in this situation....
WCQ was in disarray when Chelle confidently picked up the national team..
Make MetalicJigsaw go rest abeg...

As for Nwabali, he is crazy...

cos this mumu Rwanda i dey fear their carpenter players, this is second time we are needing a favour from Rwanda to help us stop a COSAFA team, they failed us in the first in 2006WCQ
Angola 18pts
Nigeria 18pts
Rwanda plsss help us win or draw Angola, them mumu go lost 0-1 in their own home against Angola, while we needed to beat Zimbabwe wellaa
But it was the last game in Nigeria government hat cost us.

Bad idea. We cant afford to give them the psychological edge early in the game. We cant gift them momentum edge by sitting back and allowing them come at us early. 'Wouldn't want to put an underperforming Nwabali and a suspect Ekong under early pressure. They need to grow into the game and settle psychologically.

We can only do this at selected phases in the game later on, hopefully and preferably after we have taken the lead.

Then of course, Rohr knows our quality. If Rohr's Benin tries to play consistently on the front foot, the Nigerian attack will catch them on the break and tear them apart phase after phase and we will score loads of goals. He knows this so he will be cautious.

We have to hit them early and hard. Create choas in their box early and destabilize them mentally. Shake their psychological depth early by hitting them with intensity early, overloading their box, attacking that final third and also keep a solid Rest defence (Ekong, Bassey, Benjamin) behind to mop up any cleared ball by their backline from our incessant attacks.
Then recycle and repeat.

No breathing space.
it is simpley illogical and downright stupid for chelle not to invite chidozie awaziem (who plays regularly in france) for our central defensive position when ekong is injured and semi ajayi is just coming back from injury. If i was in charge of NFF i will tell him to write a report on every tactical decision he makes including player selection. He has to state reasons for his decisions. It sounds far fetched but our coaches need to be monitored concerning the decisions they make. They can be downright stupid sometimes.

I have a question for you
Osimhen is arguably in the top 5 best strikers in the world conversation right now
Are you in the top 100 conversation in your profession globally ? grin
No wonder that man earns over $1 million monthly grin

I will not like to see Osimhen as captain though, it would affect his performance plus he’s too emotional/passionate
Rasheedat Ajibade became captain & the responsibilities that position entails affected her performance at AFCON
She wasn’t exceptional like she used to be
The captain band is heavy
What is this at the bolded? Affected her performance, how? She wasn't exceptional yet she won nothing less than 3 player of the match awards and was crowned player of the tournament at this just concluded WAFCON in July this year?

I think Nwabali is getting too comfortable in goal, he needs a rival that will put him on his toes

Yeah he's good but the error he made is too juvenile
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:32pm On Oct 11, 2025
It is not a good idea. Bury it. In the name of trying to sound different, some of you will say anything.

JohnBullMySon:
It’s a good idea, Nigeria has no option than to sit back. Not fully back but Rohr/Peseiro style. 1-0 can only be achieved by sitting back. Benin already knows that a goal stacked match is to their favor so they are going to exploit it. Win or lose or draw.

Secondly Benin is playing the game as a must win so they can only defend when they’re ahead.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 3:43pm On Oct 11, 2025
So Benin have a pattern they usually concede goals.

Go and watch their matches even up to 5 years ago, this pattern always beat them.

Make the football pitch as wide as possible, the full back must play wide when attacking, dragging one of their defending players outside, then a dribbling winger must consistently seat at the edge of the box to receive the ball and drive in quickly to the middle and shoot at goal or pass to the middle, Benin republic concedes 9/10 with this game play, now chukwueze and Simon should stay at the edge of box to receive the ball, let them not hug the touch line, we would be wasting time and effort, the full backs should do that, we also need the two central defenders to seat back with one holding midfielder, so we can defend counters, not ball watching, the should seat being alert of running opposition players and dangerous channels the can run into.

Another thing, iwobi and ndidi always get tired and confused in the game, then they start loose the balls in dangerous areas, our coaches need to work on this, they toss the ball into running channels for the forwards than loosing the ball in middle, most times one nonsense through ball because they lost the ball, then we have an opposition player face to face with our goalie.

Furthermore we need two proper midfielders, Ndidi and Iwobi in midfield combo should stop, they don’t beat press, they don’t contain pressure, they don’t hold the ball, they are the reason why we are always on pressure to defend and defend, put an extra midfield to improve control of play.

Sad that we don’t even have one decent midfield possession player, we will keep being under pressure till this is sorted.

TheSuperNerd, BankyGee, Mujtahida and other pundits in the house. Are you sure we shouldn't play this game sitting deep and hitting on the counter? We must not concede any goals at all o.
That will not be a good idea inasmuch as it sounds enticing. We have to pressure them early in the game and get a goal very early too.

Na Benin go wan do wetin you dey suggest that day, just watch. So we just have to find an early goal to put them in disarray before 30 minutes seff. When they come out to play, IF we can capitalize on it, we'll get more goals.
