Remember the 2010 World Cup qualifiers Mozambican team did Nigeria a favor by beating Tunisia while Nigeria beat Kenya in Nairobi. Mikel obi best game for Nigeria alongside the Afcon 2013 victory. I get faith Nigeria will qualify this time around. Let’s just hope for the best. Wish the boys a resounding win while Rwanda does not lose to South Africa |

I thought many here saw him as an upgrade on Zaidu. Funny how time has vindicated Zaidu again and again. Is it not on this same thread folks talked down on what Zaidu brings? Smh 123jamessmith: |

I think this ndidi onyeka with iwobi up top midfield can be decent on Tuesday. Watching Nigeria against Libya without osimhen, the team created chances upon chances with that midfield and controlled the game from beginning to end. |

AfconQs rewind: Nov 18, 2024. Rwanda came into Nigeria... and in Uyo floored Nigeria 2-1. We had already qualified but losing at home was not in the plan for ourselves. They almost sneaked into the Afcon because of that result but Rohr's Benin edged on GD as they earned a point vs Libya to tie Rwanda's 8. Why do I reference that shocking day? It is highlight of how dangerously resilient Rwanda's Amavubis can be. Now, Rwanda are out of the WC race but they will play for something else. Something worth fighting for. Pride and Bragging rights. RWANDA REMAINS THE ONLY TEAM WHO HAVE SOUNDLY BEATEN THE SOUTH AFRICANS IN THIS WCQs Group C So I expect a difficult game for South Africa. Rwanda will fight SA to a stalemate and even possibly shock them. Rwanda has a chance to finish strongly and redeem themselves after their painful home loss to Benin. They have a chance to say after this campaign that they took 4 or 6 pts off South Africa. I hope the Rwandans outdo what Zimbabwe did. Let chaos reign supreme on South African soil. Let them lose the ticket on their hime turf just as we lost ours in Abuja vs Ghana. Heaven did not fall. Hell's gates did not shatter. Rwanda will shock SA. Be strong My Naija Soldiers. Beat Benin and watch the drama in Mbombela favour us again as it did in Moses Mabhida, Durban. Look at this Zimbabwean below in reaction to SA's result vs his country...

Super Eagles of Nigeria will struggle against team like Benin. They are physically strong, quick and presently determined for world cup qualification glory. Players like Simon or Chulwueze must bring their best performance otherwise they will be nowhere to be found. Most especially Chukwueze and his glaring inabilities with the right foot on the right wing and stamina. |
