I'm disappointed in you. You mention mikel instead of mentioning odemwingie who was the arrowhead of that team alongside yakubu and martins. Same mikel that didn't make the cut because of injury. If not for those three, no WC for Nigeria
I meant that specific game vs Kenya November 2009. Obafemi martins had a good game too . I recall that game vividly.

Benjamin is a fantastic player.

I wish him all the best in his career

odemwingie was the one spearheading that team. Which mikel? When nsofor scored against Mozambique in abuja, it was odemwingie that recovered the ball and launched an assist for him to head into the net. Had he not done that, Nigeria's hopes of going to SA was over

Between Super eagles and Rohr, one party will celebrate qualification to world cup on Uyo stadium again
Either Rohr or Iwobi 😀

The kind hope wey una get for this thread, I envy you guys.
yesterday proved that we can't even finish off smaller teams anymore. In this same group, other teams use Lesotho to boost goal difference. When it came to our turn, we dey play them like say na El Classico.

by the time Benin score 1 goal tomorrow in the first half and we spend the entire game looking for an equalizer, maybe it will finally dawn on us that this team is not World Cup material. we're not ready. You can't reap where you didn't sow. When other teams were grinding out results, we were busy dragging our feet and gambling with our coaching staff. We escaped a draw with Lesotho yesterday. what makes you so sure we'll beat Benin? the same Benin wey turn this same Lesotho like garri?

Remember the 2010 World Cup qualifiers Mozambican team did Nigeria a favor by beating Tunisia while Nigeria beat Kenya in Nairobi. Mikel obi best game for Nigeria alongside the Afcon 2013 victory. I get faith Nigeria will qualify this time around. Let’s just hope for the best. Wish the boys a resounding win while Rwanda does not lose to South Africa
I can’t forget this game.
I think martins scored the winner with a bicycle kick if I’m not mistaken

This is a perfect formation , playing to the strength of the team , if Chelle will agree ... Coachy has kept it simple grin
I disagree. Jerome Akor Adams should start ahead of Moses Simon. That way we will drown the Beninoise early enough.

So here is the simple permutation. If we beat benin by more than two goals and SA draws like ogbono soup we qualify

2 goals are enough to see us qualifying if SA fail to beat Rwanda, but a 3 goals cushion is our best outcome due to GD+

I will play a 4-2-3-1 against Benin 🇧🇯

Nwabali

Fredrick. Ajayi. Bassey. Zaidu

Onyeka. Ndidi

Chwukwueze. Iwobi. Simon

Osimhen
This is a good formation and the three midfielders will occupy space but the coach prefer two midfielders

The team selection will determine the outcome of Tuesday's game ..I pray our coach pair Adams and Osihmen and play three midfielders -
If you have issues with health please don't watch
