The SE's best result/performance in this WCQ was away in Kigali. Probably the new coach effect.

Our offensive transitions are too slow. The team ends up in the final third with the opposition defence usually well organized.

The second goal yesterday showed that with quick breaks, our attackers could be in 3 vs 3 or 2 v 2 situations which could easily lead to a goal.
we were actually good against Zimbabwe but very wasteful

In the event that we somehow make the playoff, what happens to the friendlies that the NFF have planned for the team next month?

We really have a lot of dunderheads running our football
yeah i was wrong that there won't be play off matches in november. They had a defeatist mindset. Guess they wanted to secure the games ahead to prepare for afcon. Even at that, plenty of african teams to play

Yes it is, I never implied otherwise. Just annoyed at the timing of this unexpected plane issue

As we are praying to beat Benin let us be praying for Rwanda to beat or draw SA too. Because if we use mistake and win Benin, and SA win their match, we will never hear the end of it for the next 1 year until the World Cup comes and goes. They'll banter us that we helped them qualify by stopping Benin. 😂😂

That's why I'm low-key hoping that the Benin game will end in a decisive win for either Nigeria or Benin. I don't want a draw. If we win, provided Madagascar or Burkina Faso underperform, we're at least guaranteed the playoffs. If we lose, Benin goes ahead of SA.

If you like, say I'm supporting Benin. Na you sabi. But that's how much I hate these xenophobic clowns. 🤧

it is simpley illogical and downright stupid for chelle not to invite chidozie awaziem (who plays regularly in france) for our central defensive position when ekong is injured and semi ajayi is just coming back from injury. If i was in charge of NFF i will tell him to write a report on every tactical decision he makes including player selection. He has to state reasons for his decisions. It sounds far fetched but our coaches need to be monitored concerning the decisions they make. They can be downright stupid sometimes.
rumor have it that Awaziem stylishly turned down the call up because he didn’t get any minute last time he was invited

all these tension is getting too much for me. I would just avoid the match totally. Give myself a movie to watch and put off my data for the entirety of the match. Would first return here after the match to see any of this three: gnashing of teeths for missing out completely, celebration and cussing out those south africans ( would specifically search out their names for call out if the unexpected happens) if we qualify straight:and consolation if we make the play off.

I thought many here saw him as an upgrade on Zaidu. Funny how time has vindicated Zaidu again and again.

Is it not on this same thread folks talked down on what Zaidu brings? Smh
he’s the only outfield player not to get even 1 minute of football during Afcon

Despite the airplane setback. Super eagles to beat Benin 2-0 or 3-1. Destiny Can’t be denied but only delayed. South Africa will bottle it against Rwanda. Watch out.

It is only in your imagination Suliemani is preferred ahead of Lookman.

Lookman started the last two matches Atalanta played. Stop lying up and down here.

Who gave Osimhen most of the passes against Lesotho? Ghost!!!

Besides, that performance is based on the coach instruction and not form, Mr man.

As you can see he always cross or gives long passes against Lesotho.

The point is there is agenda or most criticizing him don't understand football tactics used by Chelle. EOD.

See and tell me Lookman was benched for the Ghanian.

Don't tell me about the matches before then that we know he didn't play because he had issue with the club. Stop lying here, Mr man.
Lol lookman has played 3 matches for Atalanta since his return which amounds to 137minutes out of 270 minutes thats half of the total minutes. Was this how much he used to play Before in ATalanta ?

And Which agenda are u tlaking about.?
When the whole nation was praising him it wasnt agenda..now he isnt doing well and people are pointing it out its agenda.. lol

There is no player in that team that has chopped more draggin than chukwueze
We see chukwueze being dragged like generator for 1 mistake in a match and everyone agrees.. but poiting out that lookman is out of form which everyone can clearly see is "Agenda"

All the 3 qualifiers we played he contributed little to nothing
no goal,
no asssist
no penalty won
despite playing most of the minutes.

Lookman and osimhen are the 2 less dragged people in that team.. so stop the AGENDA sh****t

We are going to the world cup guys..

Congratulations...

1-Initially, no one expected Zimbabwe to take a point from South Africa, we expected them to be whipped. Rwanda gan gan was our initial spoiler against SA. It hasn't changed.

2- Also with the way we've wobbled, struggled to impress, drawing 5 matches, scoring 1 goals per match, using 3 different coaches, south Africa playing all home matches etc... No team should even be thinking of qualifying with all this bruhaha..

3- - 3 point deduction from SA.

Plus I should add that calamitous mistake by Nwabali /Ajayi... By all means, that ball suppose stroll inside net make we kuku know say no show for us. But it went out and we are in the race... It's all for a reason.

Is not beans to top group, but Benin is not Ghana. We will beat them more than 2 goals.

Rwanda is the MAIN guys.

While southy win Rwanda

But if Nigeria is not going I'd love to see Benin qualify

True. The stars are aligning for the Super Eagles.

Not saying the Benin game will be a walkover, but for some reason I'm far more worried about the South Africa v Rwanda game. We wrote Zimbabwe off and even suggested they were selling the game, but they proved us wrong. Now, all of a sudden, we're confident that Rwanda, the supposedly "better" team than Zimbabwe will finish SA off.

But who's to say we wouldn't be surprised again (unpleasantly this time)? How seriously are Rwanda taking this game?

Woh- all I'm asking for is that Rwanda holds SA to a draw at least. I'm not asking for much. 🤧

Very true. And the question then was "why didnt Jpes play him at all? He could be better than Zaidu bla bla bla...."

Well, I hope the "throw away Zaidu" agenda can rest permanently now.
