This church was built in 2002 Oct 1 ,2nd year administration of the executive governor BOLA AHMED TINUBU , before this time history and facts have it dat marina was just discovered by d then Governor,and was a wild forest full of wild animals ...which d governor developed and named it marina within his first year in office 1999 ..😂.....

It still beats my thinking and imagination why the Mother's union Mary Sumner dress/wrapper has the design of a chain, bearing in mind it's significance in the slave trade which just as you mentioned they've openly admitted they supported and were involved in.

I used to be an Anglican but not anymore, infact I Christianity and the Abraham religions are all scams for all I care. Tools or imperialism, subjugation and slavery or the mind and body.

Sadly, all the little open spaces within the vicinity of the cathedral have been turned into another "Oyinbo" market, with traders selling all categories of wares. This should be a tourist attraction but Nigeria's environment and our decorum of puts tourists away.
