Tchinaidi:Is it Chelsea fault we are in this Sack this sack that, what was his match report card since taking over, compare to others before him |

Sugarboyy:Our goal remains the same - defeat Benin by a margin of 3 or greater. Very tall task ahead. |

mekabuachi:Balderdash We’ve won the nations cup and been to 3 world cups after the curse. Instead of them to hold the administrators responsible, dem Dey blame poor curse |

mekabuachi:A curse is a negative pattern. So let's dispel such utter nonsense from our minds. Since 2002, we qualified for 2010, 2014 and 2018 World Cups. Keshi who Oliseh mentioned as being part of the aggrieved triumvirate of coaches won the nations cup in 2013. |

mekabuachi:I watched the video. I actually like Oliseh and I sometimes enjoy seeing his analysis but that thing he said was just dumb. We like spiritualizing trivial things in this country and that's why we don't take responsibility for our actions because we've made ourselves believe certain things are not in our control. |

QueenJazz:Oliseh and his 94 set just want everyone to continue to have the impression that we can never have players like them anymore. Yes they were pioneers but they continue to act very immature in their views at times about the country. They forget that whatever they are today Nigeria as terrible as it is gave them the platform and they are nothing without that platform which is a rare privilege but at times they talk and act as if they are the ones who did the country a favour and am sick of all that nonsense talk. Next base jare |

Lol that's us football fans for you D'Law. Football has to be one of the few sports were spectators are all experts. D'Law imagine a random person you met on the road side telling you how you should have filed a legal objection or used this or that legal strategy without having ever studied law in Uni. ![]() Mujtahida: |

Honestly a lot of these 1994 set players can say the most annoying things. Can't ever remember dem Odegbami, Christian Chukwu (RIP), Adokiye, and co being this loud and obnoxious. Goke7: |

solonnachi:The 2 key matches are Burkinafaso and Dr Congo . They both won the last match, that has landed us into deep trouble. If they dont drop points we are out of contention we just concentrate on praying that Rwanda holds SA |

CapitalCee:omo Madagascar is as KEY as the burkina and Drc…if Madagascar wins like this…Both Burkina faso oo,Nigeria oo,Niger oo,Uganda oo cannot enter the play offs again…the last guys on 13ts…if they win Mali, then we will now shift focus to drc who is also on 13…those ones will beat sudan like tiff….who could Imagine Niger grabbing 3 points away to Zambia….Mali plssssssss 🙆🏼🙆🏼🙆🏼🙌🏻🙏🙏 |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by solonnachi: 7:08pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
CapitalCee:DRC will play Sudan. Hoping that the Sudanese can hold them tight. I know Burkina will trash Ethiopia and if Madagascar can play draw/lose to Mali and we beat Benin by 2/3 nil, we will be through to playoffs |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Amedino99(m): 7:17pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
CapitalCee:drc and Madagascar have 13 points so they are the utmost important as they have to draw or lose their matches. Uganda and burkina faso are on 12 points but with +3 and +4 goal differences so these matches are very important. The bad part of this is that these matches apart from DRC will hold concurrently with our match so we will be tracking the results of south africa, uganda, burkina faso and madagascar matches as well as expecting that the super eagles win their match. It will be a really crazy tuesday. Edit: burkina faso is 8 tonight. Madagascar is 8 tonight |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by CapitalCee(m): 7:34pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
Amedino99:Madagascar is plsyng away to Mali, only a win will put them beyond reach. Uganda is playing away to Algeria i dont see them beating Algeria. The key matches are Burkinafaso vs Ethiopia and DRC vs Sudan but at home. Like i said those away victories they got in the last matchday was a very big blow to us. Our chances would have been great if we had trashed Lesotho like 4-0. But ee fumbled. If Burkinafaso beat Ethiopia by just 1 goal difference we will need to beay Benin Republic 3-0. Thats an uphill task if you ask me. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by CapitalCee(m): 7:36pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
minfelix:Bros tge key matches are DRC and Burkina. And we needed to have trashed Lesotho. But Apparently our technical team of the NFF didnt know this. And Nwabali also messed us up. If thst game finished 2-0. We will just need to mstch the Burkinafaso result today to be above them |

Omoh them don drag nonsense comot from super eagles on twitter today Osimhen collected the most dragging, and I am putting him because with osimhen mentality we have been able to rally back to give ourselves a chance… The dragging is too much, and we have not even played on Wednesday, it’s like people are ready to crucify this team, just waiting for Tuesday…. Funny thing, in times like this super eagles will now come out with a stellar performance, they will make you start thinking that criticism brings the best in them. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 7:43pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
I don’t want ndidi around the box or inside… He should stay protecting our defense, he misses too much in annoying manner, always missing goals. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minfelix(m): 7:44pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
CapitalCee:ok oo but sha Mali no go jonz like zambia, else na to forget that play off, Madagascar has been impressive, their chan team were on fire 🔥…they should not sha beat Mali….na that time you go know say even burkina faso is not necessary again they will just seal that 4th spot straight up…pray make them draw sha…There game tonight is the main koko…if B/faso beats Ethiopia with many goals we can even still have small hope…but if madagascar beat Mali with one goal, baba just forget that playoff calculation from b/faso standpoint….DRC you will now be hoping to lose to Sudan abi🤣🤣 |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minfelix(m): 7:52pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
CapitalCee:even if we had trashed lesotho with 5goals, sha make Mali help us hold madagascar….otherwise score 50goals e no go pass madagascar if them beat Mali🤣🤣 |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Ppogbae: 8:04pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
PLEASE NOTE: The point deductions ONLY take effect in the placement of the 2nd place teams. Given that we drew against Zimbabwe twice, we go in that group with 12 points. A win against Benin then puts us 15 points. |

Goke7:"I'm still bitter about the 1994 World Cup match between Nigeria and Italy.at a point the team wasnt together , they had mafia s they had caucus ? How did we fail to score against a 10-man Italian team for over 50 minutes, only to lose? That team should give this generation of Super Eagles some slack. Football has evolved significantly since then, with more advanced technology and scientific approaches. While the current team isn't perfect, I appreciate their unity and togetherness – a welcome change from the past. If they qualify on Tuesday, they'll go further than any Nigerian team in history. We've got the talent; they just need the right mentality." |

Good. Mali must win and I hope Ethiopia will do a good job against Burkina. At least make their results favor us incase we come second in our group. |
