Arizoner:Lol. Even Osimhen knows Ekong is better. Did you see how Osimhen didn't attack the post in case of rebound when Ekong took the PK? He knows na. Plus that's a nervy moment. Best to avoid it cos if e miss am, everywhere go hot. So the composed captain taking it is great for everyone. |

9JAMac10:His perfomance at the AFCON is gone. He cant keep costing us because we reach AFCON final. There is nothing like Competition, the best thing to do is to either kick him out of the team completely or bench him to send a message that discipline and professionalism is key. You think if its a top coach he will tolerate that from his GK? |

victornoah:@Emboldened Exactly what i have been saying for months. Isn't it better to struggle with Rwanda at this stage and not qualify for the WC and finally get your house in order than to go to the tournament and get trounced by Colombia or Costa Rica? Nigeria did not qualify for the 2022 edition and the world did not end.Infact, with the few matches i watched,I actually enjoyed them because i experienced zero stress and had no attachment to any other team |

victornoah:Nwabali contributed a lot to what is happening to the super eagles. The guy always play football like someone with brain fart. He did everything away at South Africa to get a red card. Some people defended his action in that match. How can you call yourself a professional footballer and make those stupid tackles repeatedly? See him against Lesotho, we were playing well and could have scored a third goal because our players were still mounting pressure. He did his brain fart and we lost momentum completely. |

CapitalCee:burkina had 10 goals wiped out because they flogged the last team with 10 goals. So they had 11 goals + todays 3= 14 goals We have 11 goals if we add 3 against Benin = 14 goals We have same goals with them. It goes to a tie. They have 17/18 yellow card I am not sure if the had a red. You forget goals against the last team is non existent for second place. So their 10 goals against last place does not matter. Confirm we need just 3 goals against Benin to go ahead of them. |

Only way out is to beat Benin by 4 goals. With this, we are guaranteed qualification regardless of other factors. Chikena!! |

Dannyxy:11goals will be reduced to 2 after subtracting the 2 goals we scored against Zimbabwe. Leaving us with 9 goals and 6 goals conceived. We need 4 goals to be clear. 3 goals if no more cards. |

Mujtahida:Didn't this same Oliseh say when he was super eagles coach they were attacking him with spiritual forces. Id say Mr Oliseh really likes seeking relevancy and trends. He should equally seek therapy, and forget what looks like main character syndrome he displays. If he didn't have main character syndrome I see no reason why he should be having issues with Vincent enyeama or why he'd rather have Ahmed Musa as captain over John Obi Mikel. Well we are not all perfect , but then sometimes we must master the art of filtering certain information. |

Would be hard because of those South Americans but we will see. Whoever wins between Norway and France will present a sterner test for my Maroc boys. But Morocco U20s is giving me joy. I love their tactical resilience. They now match their best ever U20 WC outing which came at their last U20 WC appearance in 2005. Mikel Obi's set. minfelix: |

Dannyxy:The best thing to do is do the Stephen Keshi Method. Flushout everybody and restart on a fresh note. Ekong, Ndidi, Simon Moses, Chukwueze, Ndidi, Nwabali,Onyeka, Dessers, Bruno Onyemaechi, Osayi Samuel, Alhassan, Ajayi and Iwobi and co. All of them no more National team call up for them. Biuld around Osihmen, Lookman), Bassey, Fredrick, Onyedika, Dele-Bashiru, Akor Adams, Chrisantus Uche, Ola Aina, and Felix Agu. Go and bring Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, the GK Arthur Okonkwo, integrate Maigana and Sani Suleiman from the Under 20s. If we can Convince Lesley Ugochukwu. That will be great too. Then go scouting both in Nigeria and Europe and bring serious players. A Sqaud of . Gk.Arthur Okonkwo, Okoye, Amas Obasogie. Defenders: Aina, Felix Agu, Bassey, Fredricks, etc Midfielders: Akinsamiro, Ugochukwu, Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Uxhe, Sani Suleiman and Tahir Maigana. Fwd: Lookman, Osihmen, Akor Adams, Alakodare, Terem Moffi etc. Then find other younger players thst are hungry and make it up. Ekong can still remain in the team but as Captain who rarely plays. |

Dannyxy:They have 13 goals and conceeded 7. +6. Considering we have score 11 goals overall and conceded 8. Remove the 2 goals we sxored and conceded against Zimbabwe. That 9-6. If we win 3-0. It will be 12-6, +6. But they have more goals. We need 4nil or 4-1. And with thst its impossible. |

I really admire the fans that still have hope of the team qualifying, struggling against Rwanda, Lesotho and Zimbabwe yet you want to go to the WC with 17pts when other teams are more deserving of it. I truly admire your passion |

minfelix:i can predict that Gabon, Burkina faso and Cameroon have 3 of the 4 2nd round slots. Although Gabon is assured of 2nd round slot. I reckon that only 1 slot left for second round will be among Dr-Congo, Uganda and Nigeria. It will be a difficult task, that i am doubting we will be last game day lucky. We were lucky for so long and kept bottling it consistently . ( discounting previous games , draw against zimbabw at home, failing to defeat weak SA losing form away, not defeating Lesotho resoundingly that we have no excuse not doing). All the time i knew Nigeria not going to the world cup, we played way better, had high points and goal difference but lost on head to head away goal in the last 40 years. This is the worst world cup qualifying we have had in 4 - 5 decades. |
