I just saw this on Facebook that Pastor Uma ukpai has passed on, may his soul rest in peace.

Rev. Uma Ukpai, an international evangelist and the founder and president of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, is reportedly dead.

The news of Ukpai’s alleged demise is currently making the rounds on social media.

Prophet Joel Ogebe posted a cryptic message on X, stating: “A giant has gone to be with the Lord. My father, my father, the chariot of Israel. Heaven rejoices. Uyo.”

Although Ogebe did not mention any names, the post quickly sparked reactions online, with some users linking it to Rev. Ukpai, the founder and president of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, a prominent non-denominational ministry based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Shortly after, a Christian platform, Church Gist, also shared a message on Facebook reporting that the revered cleric had passed on. The post read:

“A GENERAL TAKES A BOW! EVANGELIST UMA UKPAI HAS GONE TO BE WITH THE LORD. REST IN POWER, SIR.”

At the time of filing this report, no official statement or confirmation has been issued by his family.

He was supposed to be in Benin City this week.

Thank you sir for fighting the good faith of Faith. Not many ministers maybe just 2-3 in the whole world can be compared to the kind if anointing he was carrying.

My brother used to chant this name back then, amongst names like Benson Idahosa, Kathryn Kuhlman, TD Jakes etc.

Without trying to sound insensitive, Im surprised this man has been alive till this point. Never heard of him in the news for so long unlike the likes of Adeboye, Oyedepo etc. Im surpised he's been alive all this while.

the way you people attack every pastors enh? If you think Pastors are feeding on tithes and offerings, you go and be a pastor for one month and grow the church to 50 people.
