BY:SpaceEyeNews. China laser hits the Moon in daylight—and that single result resets expectations for cislunar navigation. A near-infrared beam left Earth, reached a satellite near the Moon, and returned a detectable signal in broad daylight. Crucially, the satellite sat roughly 130,000 km away. For decades, scattered sunlight overwhelmed faint returns. Not this time. Engineers filtered the glare, timed the pulse, and captured the echo. Consequently, the Moon becomes measurable around the clock. Navigation moves from night-only windows to a continuous service model. This milestone is more than a headline. In effect, it upgrades the operating system for lunar missions. Landers, orbiters, and relay craft gain richer data. Flight dynamics teams update orbits faster. Surface operations get sharper maps and tighter positioning. Ultimately, this is the foundation of a future lunar GPS and a testbed for resilient optical communications...More:https://spaceeyenews.com/china-laser-hits-the-moon-in-daylight-130000-km-breakthrough/ website:https://spaceeyenews.com/ Ytube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzWGqAiS78E

I'm just laughing at the low interest in this thread. This is too much for Nairalanders, many have had to take panadol just reading the title. You see why we cant make top 70 countries by average IQ list? |

SporaD8:You are a critical thinker. But basically pyramids are massive stone structures that function primarily as monuments or tombs, they were never designed to interact with light or astronomical objects in this way. |

EchoEnigma:The Sphinx perhaps; but the argument that the Pyramids were basically built to serve as tombs has long been laid to rest: the Mummies were probes to distract tomb raiders; not the actual bodies of the Pharoahs credited to have been buried there. Besides, the angles/shapes/position of the chamber in relation to the hole at the apex of the pyramid structure is actually design like the working of a DVD/laser lens, with a missing keystone at the apex! Don't take my words for it, do your own research. The Pyramid was an improvised tomb; it was never built or design as one. They were never designed to interact with light or astronomical objects in this way.On the contrary, the more you get to know that the Pyramid structures predate the Egyptians or Pharaoh's civilization, and the fact that it was coated with a reflective material with a space for a missing keystone at the apex, the more you will realize they were designed like an observatory or a kind of massive laser hardware. |

engrchykae:Bless You! Saying the Pyramid was built as a tomb is just like saying "Evil Forest" in pre-colonial eras were cultivated for burying lepers, twins and outcast! |

EchoEnigma:you don't know anything about the pyramid. How can they make a tomb to be earthquake proof? Pi as in 22/7 is obtained from the pyramids. Is that why if you run a line from the pyramids (Gizeh)it will divide the earth into two equal parts. If you don't know anything, you keep quiet and learn |
