He seems to underestimate what he can achieve with the pool of players. This scoreline should be an eye-opener for him.
This!
Play to Osimhen's strengths!!
Send in those crosses
He will eat them up

Somewhat wrong. If we had beaten Zimbabwe with all other results remaining as they were/are, we would have only needed a 1:0 win against Benin to top the group while South Africa would have gone for playoffs.
It would have been 19points for us.
You're missing the point and preaching to the choir. My point was more about the irony of how those disappointing games didn't completely sink the ship for us, like we expected.

I think we're being unfair to Lookman
I actually think he would have done better than Simon did in the first half..

Those crosses Simon misplaced, Lookman would have done better
Its not being unfair lookman tends to hold ball too much to score his own gaols which chukwueze gets the ball and looks for osimhen.

Chukwueze played with same simon and performed while lookman played with him 3 times and didnt show up.

But in all lookman is better than simon sha.
He is a bit selfish thats his problem

What in the bloody hell is wrong with Ndidi?? Since 2015 abi na 16, he has yet to score a Super Eagles goal.

See the way Onyeka hit that ball. Look at the way he was unapologetic and non romantic about the way he connected with the ball. If it was Ndidi.... he will pause or find a way to direct his strike towards an opponent to be blocked. Nonsense and Ndidi! He is annoying!

I miss this man!!! 👇🏽👇🏽
Whats the mystery that coach after coach, Onyedika remains a fringe player. Why? why? why?
We desperately need a ball player in that midfield. It's time to bring in Ebenezer.

I salute u all and ask that u keep the faith and the fire ahead of the playoffs. We will get to USCAMEX 2026. We started so badly but here we are. Story not finished but will end in Glory.

He needs to be talked to and avoid dropping the ball for no reason especially in the play offs any slip up he’s going the uzoho way. Let his family and close friends give him last warning
Maybe his parents demise affected him more than we thought
Because this his rash side became apparent after then

Truidstarr, Cool10, Zuchyblink... Let me not hear pim about Rohr on this thread ever again!!!

In a game Benin needed only a draw to have a chance of qualifying, Nigeria's Super Eagles rose from the ashes led by Osimhen and battered your Daddy and his team of Beninoise squirrels 4-0. 4 nil. 4 kondo!!!

Rohr is a sham.
Chelle fry Rohr today like turkey

We thank God for the result.

Kudos to the team for still keeping us in it.

Not the way I would have wanted but the boys now know we have two AFCON finals to navigate in November.

It will be long and tough but something tells me we like doing it the hard way.

God speed to the Super Eagles please don't blow this life line.

Let me be completely honest..
I actually prefer us going through the play off route..
This team needs more games to gel
And we have finally developed some chemistry even though our performance can be disjointed at times
We have momentum and a winning mentality is setting in

I want to see us play more games
We never gel nada! We need someone in that midfield to pull the strings. We play too much through the sides. I call it sides because we really don't have wing play.

On the contrary, points deduction for 2nd placed teams was known by some NFF staff since April 2025. What was not anticipated was the draw with Zimbabwe which if we won , South Africa would have been in tears today. Despite all these, emphasis shifts to the playoffs which for me are unpaid for Grade A friendlies as well and God-willing will favour us both in Africa and in the final stage.
In case most of you don't know Cameroun will be praying to avoid GABON for some historical reasons and also Nigeria cos of our resurgence.

I know our chances of qualifying directly would be higher if we won that game, but don't you guys think it's funny that the two disappointing draws against Zimbabwe somehow ended up keeping our World Cup qualifying dream alive? 😂
I understand where you're going cos I Know it's about that Eritrea deduction palava but there's a misconception here on your part. The points deduction only happens to the second placed teams. If we are topping our group, our points won't be deducted

Rohr cried about it. We screamed about it. But SA had their way thanks to their daddy Motsepe at the helm of CAF affairs.

No home advantage awaits them at the Afcon and the WC. So dont worry. They will be exposed eventually.
LMAO grin grin

It's a pity Motsepe couldn't arm twist the Zim football Association on our behalf grin grin

You were already exposed though.....we made so many blunders in our campaign that should have given any serious team a lead in our group, but no one showed up and we came back again....and whiners are still whining grin grin grin.

If you don't make it on the play offs, we are willing to grant victor overnight citizenship so that he can atleast participate on one world cup during his prime embarassed.
