Man Big Vic played 4 and a half games and still finished as our top goal scorer MONSTER MENTALITY.

More worrisomely why can't we just perform if Osimhen is not around?!
Bruhhhh
I can only pray he is always fit and that he wins the AFCON to cement his legacy.

I think Akor and Tolu will do fine.

Very annoying. If it's other teams now they turn to prime Onana.

Can't tell you how annoying it was seeing that yeye Rwandan goalkeeper making worldie saves against us too.
Odunayaw:
I watched one of the goals SA scored, omoo it's a gang up of GKs to frustrate us walahi
They had something to play for when they played against the Super Eagles unlike when playing against South Africa..

Yet some say he is not as good as we say he is. Reason no big club came for him in the summer and he ended up in the Hausa League. Many of them are still here swallowing the bitter pie that Seriki came to the party and delivered a masterclass.
Hold their neck!!

Ndidi is very frustrating. He doesn't score. He missed one glaring chance in the Zimbabwe game.

We made so many mistakes that should have put us at the bottom of the group if we were in a group with serious contenders grin grin....but the same people who failed to take advantage of all our blunders think we should fear them at the upcoming Afcon? grin grin. What are the giants smoking ? grin grin

their bad belle too much and also their only intention of associating themselves with our football is just for selfish gains

Instead of any of them to coach the super eagles ever again I rather support a mad man to take over the job
I just tire.

I have a question. What's is the reason for our obsession with 442 though. Even after trying for several years and matches without any long term success, why do all coaches still stick to it. Is it like an NFf imposed formation or what. I remember the early days of Rohr,he used 433 to great success till he started trying to shoehorn ihenacho into the line up and use 442 and it went down hill. Today we all saw how immediately our game got better immediately we changed to 433 after Onyeka came in. I'm sure next game we will be back to this same 442. Is there something we fans don't know that the technical committee sees or something.

He substituted Ronaldo, Bebeto and one other prominent players thinking he had won d match.
You were right about the Ronaldo sub but I think that was at about the 83rd to 87th minute.
Rivaldo for Juninho who really disturbed us more that day and Savio for Ronaldo were the subs that day. Taking off Mobi Oparaku and introducing Wilson Oruma was some kind of Master stroke as he already had Okocha on the pitch(2 tens).

We will leave after humbling that 9JAMac10, he is the one who turned your football thread into a political debate wink
both Nigeria and black South Africa are been humbled already..

wyte supremacists are importing terrorists into Nigeria to kill, destroy and destabilize Nigeria and are still collecting 60% of Nigeria's crude oil

while wyte supremacists are importing people from u:kraine, IsraHell and other countries into South Africa to destroy black South Africans politically and economically.. at least terrorists are not killing black South Africans daily and your currency is strong so all you black South Africans have to do is buy and sell from yourselves and you will be okay..

Maybe it's the euphoria of making the playoffs but I'm almost 100% confident that we'll be in the USA next year.

I pray opposition does not get him injured. He reminds some of us of Prime Jero Shakpoke in the friendlies build up to France 98. Excellent performer in his first 3 or 4matches before Artur Numan of Netherlands injured him in a friendly.

Yes but people here will not admit it...

it is an NFF imposed formation...

same way Onyedika, Ejuke, Tella, Akor Adams, Tolu e.t.c. rarely used to get called up...

CAN NIGERIA QUALIFY FROM THIS?

Best second place for the playoffs! 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 world cup:

CAF Playoff TournamentThis is a knockout mini-tournament to determine Africa's representative for the FIFA inter-confederation playoffs. It features the 4 best group runners-up and is hosted on neutral ground in Morocco.

Dates: Semi-finals on November 13, 2025;
Final on November 16, 2025.

Seeding and Draw:

Based on the FIFA Men's World Rankings released on October 23, 2025. The highest-ranked team faces the lowest-ranked in one semi-final, and the second-highest faces the third-highest in the other.
Match Rules:

Single-leg matches (no home/away).
In case of a draw: 30 minutes of extra time, followed by penalty shootouts if needed.

Teams can make 5 substitutions per match, with a 6th allowed in extra time.

Structure:Semi-finals (2 matches): Winners advance.

Final (1 match): The winner qualifies for the inter-confederation playoffs.

Outcome: The playoff winner does not automatically qualify for the World Cup. Instead, it advances to FIFA's inter-confederation playoff tournament in March 2026, where it competes against 5 other teams (from AFC, CONCACAF [2 teams], CONMEBOL, and OFC) in a format to be confirmed by FIFA, with the top 2 overall securing the final two World Cup spots.

oga I no follow u dey watch back of tv. Even if the game ended 3-0 or even 2-0 the boys played exceptionally well which is a sign that they understand Chelle’s tactical demands now

I watch the game from start to finish so nothing u fit talk wey go mk me think otherwise

Tactically this is Chelle’s best game with the super eagles since he took charge. Not because of the score line but how the boys executed his plans on the pitch.
No worry I go bookmark this 😂

The pitch was impressive
It was really smooth and clean the lines were shinning

It was better than the other games they've played at that stadium

Seems they did something different on it
