Elock1:I'm also in support of Nwabali's replacement, but God forbid that the replacement will be Uzoho. Lol. We have myriad of other options. Maduka Okoye (this one is the obvious and easiest replacement to make now that he's available) Arthur Okonkwo Noah Atubolu (I hear he's eligible) Obasogie Harcourt etc. |

Wouldn't be surprised if conspiracy theorist in their country are interpreting it as a propaganda by America and the western world to frustrate the leadership of their military ruler Traore. opes: |

QueenJazz:Actually Osimhen, Chukwueze, Adams upfront. Moses Simon should get brief roles as an incoming sub.Fred Onyeka is our Modern Day Thompson Oliha and we might need Ejuke for creativity. There was a boy in one of the U17 WAFU B tourneys between 2020 to 2023 that was an excellent freekick taker reminiscent of Austin Okocha. I think we need him as well. Chijioke Aniagboso former U20 2023 goalkeeper currently playing his trade in Ukraine should be called up to give NWABALI and Okoye a keen fight same as Detan Ogundare good at stopping penalties. |

QueenJazz:Ebenezer Harcourt has been dismal of late. If he picks up maybe he would make Olympics in 3years time but Super Eagles: NO! I have an issue with bringing in someone from the Tanzanian league even though the competition from their clubsides of late has greatly improved but I'd rather if we call from Africa it should be SOUTH AFRICAN LEAGUE, EGYPT, MOROCCAN, TUNISIAN AND ALGERIAN LEAGUE AS WELL AS IVORIEN AND NIGERIAN LEAGUES. TALK ABOUT EASE OF SCOUTS SPOTTING THEM AND TAKING ANY ONE TO BETTER CLUBS IN EUROPE NOT TO LATVIAN, MALTESE, LITHUANIAN OR INDIAN CLUBS TO MENTION BUT A FEW. FOOTBALL HAS GONE GLOBAL & WE DID NOT EMERGE AS A FORCE BY MEDIOCRE SELECTIONS IN THE LATE 80'S INTO THE 90'S. |

Nigeria vs Benin in the first 74 minutes before Onyeka’s introduction 5 shots attempted Nigeria vs Benin in the final 16 minutes after Onyeka’s introduction and switch to 4-3-3 6 shots attempted |

Elock1:We're paying the price for not scouting for capable goal keepers on time to save our blushes after the Uzoho misadventures, Arthur Okonkwo and Noah Atubolu would have been ideal targets for us but it was certain if they wanted to play for us. Now we are stuck in the conundrum of tolerating Nwabali and his erratic nonsense. Meanwhile Ghana took a chance with their home based GK Benjamin Asare, and he seems to have done really well so far and will likely be a starter for them at the world cup. We need to use the AFCON to scout for GKs anywhere possible, Noah is still eligible as he hasn't played a competitive game for Germany so we can try push for him when we make it past the playoffs. |

Chai intercontinental play off in march 2026 go dey interesting sha, let me start my own simulated prediction 🤪🤪😜 Intercontinental play of teams Conmebol (1)= Bolivia 🇧🇴 OFC(1) = New caledonia 🇳🇨 AFC (1)= winner between Iraq vs UAE 🇦🇪 (i pick UAE) Concacaf (2)= Curacao 🇨🇼 and Costa rica 🇨🇷 CAF(1) = Nigeria 🇳🇬 (my prediction 😀) Now this is how it will be arranged from fifa source: 2unseeded teams faces each other from two different brackets more like: bracket 1: (New caledonia 🇳🇨 vs Bolivia 🇧🇴) my pick : Bolivia to win bracket 2( Curacao 🇨🇼 vs UAE 🇦🇪) my pick: UAE 🇦🇪 to win then winner from the 2 bracket of unseeded teams will now face the top seeded teams according to fifa ranking for the remaining 2slots for 2026 Fifa worldcup More like: Nigeria 🇳🇬 vs UAE 🇦🇪 Costa rica 🇨🇷 vs Bolivia 🇧🇴 My pick: Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Costa rica 🇨🇷 to be the 2 final qualified nations |

TheLoneCitizen:The truth: 5 shots attempted with 3 goals. 6 shots attempted with 1 goal. In yesterday's match it ended well and apart from 3 Super Eagles players(I DON'T WANT TO MENTION NAMES BECAUSE THEY CAN IMPROVE IF GIVEN ANOTHER CHANCE) the rest of our players were above average. |

![]() @QueenJazz Sister I understand your pain. 1. You were always group favorites because of your history in football( dominance in African football)and the fact that you have so many international stars in your team . So naturally ,you being in the position you are in will attract a lot of attention; from critics to well-wishers. You're simple the most disappointing in our group ,you were in a group of "minnows "and you failed to secure a direct qualification even after all the reckless mistakes of SA ?. You should be the talk of the town for 6 months sister .2. No one cares for that" giant of Africa" title ,it's yours to keep ,so relax we ain't fighting you for that. But we will surely fight to death to be the number one country on all development indices that make life a bit comfortable for citizens. If we stay on top of that, We can be called the ant of Africa for all we care .3. Who is the government, not the same Nigerians? . It's you who is failing on all sectors of governance not some aliens from Mars. We are all to blame for the failures of our respective countries . Those who govern us are a reflection of the societies that groomed them to be what they are . You cannot run away from that simple fact .Now go on and continue consoling yourself with nothingness 👉👍🫵🤝🙌👏🤜 And Goodluck on those play-offs. You do deserve to win for the sake of osimhe . |

Chukweze on his good day is unplayable, he just needs to find consistency. If it was lookman those assists to osimwhen would have not been possible. |

minfelix:Costa Rica might not come for playoffs as they might top their group and qualify directly. In our simulation let us not forget the mistake of thinking about BRAZIL when we have not surmounted DENMARK a la FRANCE 98. THE PLAYERS WE HAVE ARE UP TO THE TASK AND GOD WILL HELP US. |

minfelix:It will be played in Mexico. Omo we need to do everything to avoid Bolivia oo, they play well in high altitude. They do well in high altitude. From your projection if we can play UAE that will be best. |

Lionessza6:We wish all representatives well but truth be told you did not do excellently well giving the advantage of 7home matches. Were Osimhen present against you in South Africa the story would have been different. Had every team played their home matches in their country, chances are that NIGERIA might not have been in the playoffs but would have qualified directly.STOP OVERHYPING BAFANA BAFANA but do a truthful analysis during and after the Nations Cup. Of a truth, your development has been outstanding but not near NIGERIA in terms of the Senior Teams. Rest awhile from our Convo as Nigerians if you may. |
