But novice traders convince their followers to use *100 leverage and trade without a stop loss

The crash that happened days ago invalidated their theories.

Best method of trading on futures is simply using your maximum allowed margin loss to open a cross position and fill with 20-25% drop from your desired entry points. Isolated trades make it hard for your trade to actually have room to play out. You can't always get the perfect entry on a trade so an isolated position with tight stop losses don't pay you at all. Speaking from experience here.

If you want to use $2000 max on a trade. Just move only $2000 to your futures account. Open the trade with a reasonable leverage, and then start filling with scaled orders, if you aren't sure you are bidding the bottom. Can't count how many times, I have been kicked out of a trade cause of a 0.5% move on spot due to my tight stop losses. In essence.

There is a way this cycle thing is linked to Bitcoinn halving, maybe that is what ilegen.d meant when he said cycle is coded into blockchain. Bitcoinn has always peaked a year after halving & so far this year has not been different. Bitcoinn is what we can use to judge cycles, not alts. This blockchain thing began with only Bitcoin, Altcoin is just an after thought. Bnb is already approaching its price prediction of 1500 for the cycle, just a little pump from eth will also put it at its peak which will likely happen before December.

I'll explain....

Bull Run:

Altseason: is specifically about alternative cryptocurrencies doing well.

So, bull run has been ongoing.

Alt season,meaning alternate coin season, meaning coins that are not in the top 10 coins but are seeing unbelievable increase in price.

You can't expect a coin that has 1T dollar market cap to reach 2T dollar market cap, who will fund it?

But if it drops from 1T to say 1B market cap, then people can fund it for it to get back up, right?

If you are looking for those crazy gains, go to solana chain, there are many coins that are listing today today, at 10k market cap, you can buy those ones and hold them. At least before you hold 10, 1 will moon since you people are eager to get an alt season by all means.

I've said here before that crypto has evolved past holding coins and waiting for it to x2 from when you bought. Now you need to learn how to trade it and trade it carefully cos nor be your papa get the market.

Or you can withdraw loan of 5M, divide into 10 buys and buy btc on spot market at every 10% dip. The good thing is that the 5M will never get lost but you may not make enough profit to pay back the interest on the loan and get your own capital, highest you can get may be N5,330,000 that is after 2years o and that's me been realistic.

So you have 2 options, pursue rugs on dexscreener, learn to trade established coins and just be buying BTC.
