Loss of form and injuries.

Taiwo just never quite grabbed his opportunity when he was chosen to start.

In 2021 he was our main striker at the AFCON yet he didn't make an impact. Hasn't scored much in other matches.

Seriously one of the forwards has to step up to ease the burden on Osimhen.

Even during Yekini's time Amokachi, Siasia, Amuneke helped out with crucial goals.

Nooo let him not be brought in. I have hidden agenda for wanting Akinsanmiro Ebenezer in the Super Eagles midfield.

Mujtahida:
It was obvious that we didn't have midfield control. Ebenezer has to be brought in

Arokodare to Moffi and then to Simon.

I think that pass was from Arokodare

On 31 January 2023, Orban joined Belgian Pro League side Gent on a permanent deal.[13] On 11 February, Orban scored two goals on his Pro League debut in a 3–3 draw with Westerlo.[14] On 12 March, Orban managed to score four goals in a 6–2 away win over Zulte Waregem, which made him the first Gent player to do so in the 21st century. All the goals came in the second-half.[15][16] In his very next game on 15 March, he scored a first-half hat-trick in 4–1 away win over İstanbul Başakşehir in the UEFA Europa Conference League round 16. The hat-trick was scored within three minutes and 25 seconds, setting a new record for the fastest hat-trick in UEFA club competitions, breaking the previous record of six minutes and 12 seconds held by Mohamed Salah in the Champions League.[17] In the 2023–24 Europa Conference League campaign of KAA Gent, Orban scored another European hat-trick, this time against Pogoń Szczecin in the first leg of the third qualification round, resulting in a 5–0 win for Gent.[18] One of his sterling stats.
Gift Orban scored the decisive goal via the penalty spot for Hellas Verona to snatch a 1-1 draw against Juventus, his first goal for the club⚡ He was named Man of the Match. Now that was against Juventus, a formidable team. Talk about grit to earn MOTM award ahead of other Juve players.
He has scored a whooping 61 goals in 112 games played across all his past and present clubs in Europe.

Your guy is an otu, and is not fit to be anywhere near the team.
Young man you just like wahala...which agenda again abi you ever see me talking about Olakunle for here.I'm just happy for him cuz is a boy I know personally, nothing attached 😔

Kog45, I second this one. Olakunle was out of his depths all through the 45mins+ he got. Wasted certain offensive transitions and we are favored we got more transitions that didnt go through him. Omo... I was disappointed.
I'm just celebrating a product and really surprised seeing him subbed in,normal for club side to celebrate young ones in national team,my submission is not about his performance

Actually Osimhen, Chukwueze, Adams upfront. Moses Simon should get brief roles as an incoming sub.Fred Onyeka is our Modern Day Thompson Oliha and we might need Ejuke for creativity. There was a boy in one of the U17 WAFU B tourneys between 2020 to 2023 that was an excellent freekick taker reminiscent of Austin Okocha. I think we need him as well.
Chijioke Aniagboso former U20 2023 goalkeeper currently playing his trade in Ukraine should be called up to give NWABALI and Okoye a keen fight same as Detan Ogundare good at stopping penalties.
Arthur Okonkwo is not doing badly.

Since we only need to win the semi final in the intercontinental play off to pick a ticket, why is the final still necessary for us to play. E go come with trophy?

What is this at the bolded? Affected her performance, how? She wasn't exceptional yet she won nothing less than 3 player of the match awards and was crowned player of the tournament at this just concluded WAFCON in July this year?
I didn’t want to respond but here you go 🚶🏽‍♂️
Did you thoroughly watch all 6 games of the WAFCON?
The standout performer was (Assist Queen) Esther Okoronkwo
Ajibade was simply consistent & played every minute of the tourney

Yeah at the moment he cant. This is why I havent been dropping steady updates on him so folks wont get the wrong idea.

Loads of players play weekly but I cant be dropping all so I select what I can most especially to focus on who can bring extra to the team. But I still drop the odd names when I see fit.
if I didn’t know better I’d have thought you are the one behind eagles tracker, well done to you guys 👍🏾

The way Super Eagles shut many of us who didn’t believe them up against Benin Republic shocked
Air Osimhen will always give you a solid 80 minutes of world class football, he could’ve scored more
Can you imagine
He emptied his tank lol

Same way a Jerome Akor Adams might not have been valued when Montpellier were drowning but he was an outstanding performer.
I make a case for Aniagboso to be recalled. He played same tournament with Benjamin Frederick who has respectedly taken his chance to become a starter.
this Aniagboso wasn’t great at U-20, for now he can continue to grow, no need to rush him

I'm also in support of Nwabali's replacement, but God forbid that the replacement will be Uzoho. Lol.

We have myriad of other options.

Maduka Okoye (this one is the obvious and easiest replacement to make now that he's available)
Arthur Okonkwo
Noah Atubolu (I hear he's eligible)
Obasogie
Harcourt
etc.
Ah Harcourt for world cup ? Haba take it easy

just got it. The four lowest ranked teams will play the semi finals. The top 2 ranked teams (if we are among the top ranked by then) are the ones that will play the final and clinch the tickets.

I'm happy seeing Olakunle Olusegun on the field yesterday and good to see two ABS boys in the team.... Benjamin Frederick and Olakunle Olusegun never knew it would be so soon, playing for eagles....former Senate President Bukola Saraki owner of ABS paid tribute to the two players for their outstanding performance.

Chelle got the ball and soon to see young players like Akinsanmiro,Eletu making the team.
abeg who discovered Benjamin? ABS or Moses Simon?

We also need to thank God that Burkina Faso played their last game before us. The realization that we needed to win 4:0 was the extra tonic. Else we for no beat Benin pass 2:0 and we could have crashed out.

They need to go back to the drawing board and wait for their time. If not for the nonsense that Finidi performed we wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place.
