Morocco's football is so ugly to watch man. All they do is get a goal and pack the bus. Nigeria u20 team of 05 IMO was the best African team at the WYCs. Ghana team of 1993 was also fun to watch. Anyway sha good luck to them but i think Argentina will edge them out like Messi did to us 20 years ago.

This 4-4-2 is our best set up. Chelle switched to 4-3-3 by bringing on Frank. We had Frank, Ndidi, and Iwobi in the midfield and we couldn't even build a genuine chance not until Moffi came on when we switched back to 4-4-2, and scored within minutes. I would start Onyedika to play Iwobi's role and either Onyeka/Ndidi. Onyedika will provide the balance Iwobi lack in stamina, marking, passing, pace and shooting. No team can withstand Akor, Osimhen, Simon and Chukwueze/Lookman breathing down its neck. Onyedika is the key to this formation. Dele can also play the role

We have been over this again and again on this thread. And I am convinced 4-3-3/4-3-2-1 or 4-3-1-2 is our best chance to put out a more tactically balanced side that will defend, attack, control the tempo and close games out making only the tactical changes that matter based on what the result says.

3-4-3/3-4-2-1 is the best when we want to utilise a 2 man midfield and play counter attack football. At least, with this we can have 6 defending. Not 5. Count the more defensive of the 2 CMs. JPes used this at the Afcon and we went all the way. Africa had no answer to that setup up until the final where we caved because we didnt have another plan apart from that.

Awoniyi has 10 caps more than enough to show what he's capable of and every fair supporter will say he has been average so far with the SE.

So using Osimhen as a cover to excuse Taiwo's average performances so far for the national team will not fly. Other forwards don't have stellar numbers and have been criticized why should Awoniyi be excused.

Victor has been performing let Awoniyi up his game so that everyone will hail him instead of using agenda and shalaye to cover for him.

How many goals did he score in AFCON? He scored once and assisted 3 times.

The problem with Nigeria is, once you are a fan favorite, no matter what you play, you will still be given chances upon chances.
