D generalisation of d last statement is nothing but morbid. Not all Nigerians are childish and irresponsible. There are many monikers on dis forum that I wish would go into politics and I swear I will sell all I av have to follow them, why-they present you undebatable and undeniable fact in their opinion, and you can see dat this people are meticulous in keeping records and they are "neaty picky"- they are thorough-bred gentlemen.

It is true every man has a price but not every man can be bought. So your lordship, I objectively object to that generalisation that......" we are childish and irresponsible people".
As a people, that's who we are. Why do we like engaging in absurd denialism? Aren't you seeing the results? Simple pattern recognition should make you see these things.

I mentioned our trait as a people, you are using individuals to negate my point. Haba

In Titus 1:12 Paul in admonishing Titus to be strict had this to say about Cretans:
"Even one of their own men, a prophet from Crete, has said about them, “The people of Crete are all liars, cruel animals, and lazy gluttons.”

Then you'd come and say ohh Paul is being morbid. I know so and so Cretan who does not lie and is not cruel or lazy.

I wanted to say something about Morrocco. How many AFCON have they won? I mean from senior to junior levels. But they are knocking the door seriously when it comes to the world. This is the approach I've always wanted Nigeria to take. You don't make much progress as a nation if you are fixated on being local champs in Africa.

Mujtahida:
You ignore something crucial which TheGoodJoe often emphasizes - keep improving and with time the results will come.

Morocco hasn't won anything yet but the whole world acknowledges that they are onto something.

"Fred" is a placeholder for Benjamin Frederick.

Two ways we can start in November. I wouldn't play Simon and Lookman at the same time.

I can't forget Awoniyi missing an open net in our first leg game against Zimbabwe.

He hasn't shown that he's a reliable backup.
To be honest anyone canvassing for Awoniyi is just playing double standard. Cos there is no difference between him, Onauchu, Sadiq, Simmy, Victor Boniface.

Even Moffi is more reliable than him

May be a little too "praisey" but you make sound points. Chukwueze is key to our creative plays and his skillset indeed makes him a game changer both through the middle and wingwards.
The few times he tried throughballs through the middle, the first one clicked. Another to Adams almost resulted in a goal too in the first half.

His second assist for Osimhen which came straight from the wing off a Frederick Throw in, was another example of how devastating Chuks' left foot can be when they send in crosses on time without dilly dallying.

A Chuks on the right, cutting into the central zones in midfield, penetrating the Right half space in the final third and also going on the outside on the right wing is devastating to watch. If only he can consistently keep alternating these approaches to stay unpredictable.
The nerd,

I am not going overboard with my Praise of Chukwueze... My accolades on him is based on extensive analysis of his game play since 2015 U-17s.

De nerd, you know what I am saying. Look at him with your trained eyes. Chukwueze has mastered the art of playing 3 solid positions on the field. He started with 11 at the U-17s to Villarreal and even his early days in the SE. Later switched to 7 and inverted RW. Now Chelle mistakenly played him as a 10 against Jamaica and he shoned like he was born for that role.

His wing play either as a LW or RW can be erratic but I promise you, his midfield role will not be the same.

You people forget that Chukwueze has more Assist in that Team than any other players, yet he played less than most of them.

He has been giving Osimehn assist back to back. He was the one who assisted Osimehn with the second goal away to Rwanda.

Playing him as a 10 with a free role means that he can be seen anywhere on the pitch and he will do well with the ball, LW, RW, AM, CM etc just name it, he will always wiggle his way out.

In the process, the issue about his on & off performance won't even arise.

If you are making Iwobi sit deep with Ndidi, then by all means allow Chukwueze sit and roam just ahead of them.

Another person Chelle is not utilizing is Uche, Second half, Uche can come in for either Iwobi or Chukwueze. Having a versatile player like Uche is always a blessing most coaches pray for, someone that can play DM, CM and AM comfortably is who you are rooting to the bench.

This squad is more than capable of putting aside all teams in the playoffs including Cameroon, Bolivia or Costa Rica. It doesn't matter who we meet.

We have been given a lifeline here, let's not blow it.

Let them approach this playoff as our own World Cup before the main world Cup. Whatever display we are hoping to do at America should start from the playoffs.

4-5-1 is a very wrong formation to suggest for us abeg

That's a very rigid defensive formation

It's not necessary

1. For the first frame, switch Iwobi with Sam
2. I would prefer Ben at RB and Ajayi at CB
3. Bringing in Okoye at this stage is risky.. very risky. I would rather play Nwabali
4. I like how you arranged the front 6 in the second frame..

1. Omanbala is a proud Igbo man and would not resist adding an igbo term to his moniker. Another moniker of his is OdenigboAroli

2. He would sound harsher than JamesSmith when discussing Iwobi. Like wayyyy harsher. Not mincing at all.

Benjamin Chiemela Fredrick is the name to look out for in the coming years in the SE
What a guy! His interceptions, his drive forward, his athletism in the air, his calculative tackles with minimal fouls are just scintillating
Wish dude will meet a brilliant coach tha can help bring out the best in this dude, he has so much more to offer
Gradually, our central defence and right full back issue is being resolved
Kudos Fred!
And thank you to Moses Simon's Academy for producing such a gem!

I don't see any risk with Okoye. I saw a more confident Okoye vs Russia. I think he is now ripe for the #1.
I agree on #2 for continuity. But Ajayi would serve suspension and can't play against Gabon

we really underrated and came unprepared against teams like Lesotho,Zimbabwe and Benin at the start of the qualifiers…now we dare not underrate Drc,Gabon and Cameroon…
Nigeria and Cameroon were the sleeping giant of the group stage, Allowing teams Like SA and Capeverde top the group to qualify….DRC and Gabon is understandable, cos they had Senegal and CIV to contend with respectively….so it wasnt gonna b easy for them….i see both giant Nigeria and Cameroon waking up form to dispatch those teams to reach the final…
Nigeria vs Cameroon will be cr@zy….they will be very stubborn this time around
am just scared of injuries for our players, omo e no go funny, we may win them but dem go brake our players leg tire and most times refs no dey too protect us like that

Against cameroon we can get skillfully forwards who will win us penalties and red cards. Samuel chukwueze, chidera ejuke and ademola lookman can do that. By the time they have 2 red cards and a penalty for nigeria, caneroons physicality will die down. Well, it depends on the referee but chidera ejuka to me seems our most skillfully forward. I did not say best but his dribbling skills are the best. Dribbling is just an aspect of football.

His lack of gametime at Palace really irks me. If he was still at Getafe, we wont be having this conversation.

Anyway, he is still 22. He will get the gametime. Seriously using Yaya's trajectory to encourage myself on Uche's.
I think Uche has a clause of permanent transfer to Crystal Palace if he starts atleast 10 games for them.

Maybe that's why he isn't starting games , just saying though

For me bring in LOOKMAN as a sub

And no matter what some of you say we need MOSES in that team, you all may not like him but what he brings to the team can only be seen by those who understand football. Ask yourself why he keeps starting games all these while even under different Nigerian coaches

I think NDIDI should start as well to give the defense a boost

If AJAYI can somehow sneak into starting line up, I won't have an issue with that, due is paying his dues gradually. ( Heard is on suspension though)

And OSIMHEN need a supporting striker so he does not over work himself upfront, remember there are 2 games to be played in Morocco. Make the Bobo sef reserve small fuel. He don too try

I have been saying it before and I will keep saying it.

Chukweze holds the key to our long lost number 10. Chukweze holds the key to our qualification.

Chukweze is the remaining gel to our team play. He is the missing piece to our destruction of teams going forward.

Chukweze is tricky, sleeky, skillful, technically astute and a ball carrier.

This is not an argument of either playing Ademola or Chukweze. Play Chukweze and others. Just make sure he starts especially through the middle.

His skills are specially designed for free midfield role and you will see magic. He is left footed and that makes him a perfect candidate for the 10 role.

Think Messi, Think James, Think Odegaard, then think Chukweze.

He showed what he is capable of doing through the middle during the Unity cup, yet Chelle kept him on the bench.

Look at how we have struggled for goals all through the Qualifiers and suddenly Lookman Ademola is benched due to yellow cards and we suddenly won 4-0, through whose Magic?... Chukweze!!!!

He is the unsung hero in that Match.

This is not even about Osimehn,..(Osimehn has been playing since without been fed )

No matter how good your strikers are, they need feeding.

It bothers me that the coach didn't notice all these while. It took God to make Ademola get banned to force his hands to play Chukweze.

If Lookman had played that game instead of Chukweze,... We will not be analyzing any Playoffs because we all know how that match would have ended.

We would have struggled to score one Goal from beginning to ending,.. we will manage to score one in the 60th or 70 minutes and Benin would equalize in the 80th minute... 1-1 game over.

In all these, Playoffs will come and Chelle will be back to benching Chukweze for Lookman, then bringing him in the 85th Minute to play wing football and Perform Magic.

Chukweze is the Okocha of our time, the scoring Okocha actually.,.. Just play him through the middle and see Magic
Bro it shockes me people are not seeing this abt him.
If i show u my tweets on twitter on my ceyis abt chukwueze during the matches he was bemching him.
Its not a coincidence that we stuggle to score goals and suddenly he started and he score 4. Team that looked dead for goals.

If u even check then only 10mins he played previously immediately he entred osimhen started having more some attempts on goals. Chukwueze who fulham was benching later got 20 mins and got an assist and could hav got 2 if the other player didnt miss.
The day chukwueze got his full confidence back there would be a problem.
