Whose Son Is the Messiah?
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?”

“The son of David,” they replied.

43 He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says,

44 “‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
until I put your enemies
under your feet.”’

45 If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?” 46 No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.

this is one of the reasons i know Jesus never existed.
this particular psalm is a psalm of David.
it was written by David and given to the choirmaster to be sung during service...

so the other passages in the psalm shows that it is talking about David himself who was
being chased by people who were planning a palace coup.

so the proper rendering of the passage is
The Lord (God on high) said to my lord(David) .....as would have been spoken by the choirmaster leading the praise and worship session.

“‘The Lord(God on high) said to my Lord(David)
“Sit at my right hand
until I put your enemies(those chasing him, and hell bent on killing him)
under your feet.”’

The messiah is a man from the line of David through Solomon his son.
the two contradictory genealogies in Mathew and Luke can not lead to a messiah. and moreover what is the purpose of
the genealogy if Joseph is not related to Jesus by blood.
so many things are wrong with the Jesus narrative..

the messiah is a man, not a demi god, like Perseus or

If that statement referred to David,then why did Jesus quote it?David was a king and also a prophet and that statement was a prophecy.

“And after the 62 weeks, Mes·siʹah will be cut off, with nothing for himself. “ And the people of a leader who is coming will destroy the city and the holy place. And its end will be by the flood. And until the end there will be war; what is decided upon is desolations" Daniel 9:26

After challenging Jesus the Jewish religious leaders conspired to have him killed {John 11:57} and they succeeded in killing him {Matthew 26:40-43} these fulfilled the highlighted in red.

Three decades later the Roman army came and destroyed Jerusalem along with its temple (the holy place) this is the fulfillment of the highlighted in blue.


Afterwards the land was flooded with many bandits fighting over the possession of Jerusalem and war never cease till today in the city where Christ Jesus the Messiah was killed. That's the fulfillment of the highlighted in green.

So it's confirmed just as the Roman soldier who supervised the killing of Jesus said:

“Certainly this (Jesus) was God’s Son.” Matthew 27:54

if Jesus existed, he would have known as a Jew that the passages is referring to DAVID. who was being chased by people seeking his life.

nobody heard Jesus speak, nobody knows what he said, nobody saw him......it is all a made up story. to deceive.

Justin martyr an early church father had this to say concerning Jesus :
“And when we say also that the Word, who is the first-birth of God, was produced without sexual union, and that He, Jesus Christ, our Teacher, was crucified and died, and rose again, and ascended into heaven, we propound nothing different from what you believe regarding those whom you esteem sons of Jupiter(God). .......nothing different. Mercury, Aesculapius, Dioscuri; and Perseus,etc. The idea was already there
but the Jewish messiah is a man from the line of David through Solomon his son. Jesus does not qualify at all.

Jehovah's Witnesses are living proof that Jesus is the Son of God today.
Please present a living proof that anyone else is a son of God whose life and activities has impacted millions of lives globally? Act 1:8

Don't you think that you are being a hypocrite and acting like the Pharisees?
Did you see David,did you hear him speak?How come you believe David existed but not Jesus?
