JaySmart4422:Don’t pay back evil with evil but make sure your foundation is standard to the point your grandchildren will enjoy your legacy before you start associating with them. Once they start showering you with that love, you might get carried away and forget. Once you’ve forgotten how they treated you first and you fall again, no one is coming for you. Forgive but don’t forget the experience and make sure they don’t find you the way you were before. See their past rejection as a motivation (then and now) but don’t ever imagine they can change. You mean something like you have at least Naira 30 million in savings for emergencies only, while you have a roof over your head and a reliable source of income(not a month-to-month paycheck), abi?  You'd better go keep working on improving yourself and your finances as a whole, and stop worrying about whether your family would finally come to stroke your ego after the previous humiliation or not. |

family is a social construct. if your biological siblings have proven themselves to be unreliable or toxic, then redefine your family. surround yourself with people who value you for who you are, not for what you have. 5 Likes 1 Share |
