🔥 EXCL | Several clubs from Spain and Belgium - including Club Brugge - are keeping a close eye on 19yo left-footed 🇳🇬 midfielder Onyedika Onuorah.

Scouts from interested teams will attend his upcoming matches to monitor his progress.

That's exactly the issue we need to address. Do we have a football identity? We don't employ systems. That is our problem. Even if they don't win the AFCON, what they have is sustainable and it's just a matter of time. It's possible they can win the WC and not win the AFCON. Winning the AFCON is not a test that one can go all the way at the mundial. The latter is the grand prize

TheSuperNerd:
On the world stage, Morocco has a pattern of play which I also watched their Latest U17 side use to conquer Africa at the last U17 Afcon vs Mali in the final earlier this year.

Morocco plays ultra defensive football and hit on the counter with fast outlets(Fast wingers, speedy ball carriers, etc). This is their pattern on the world stage for all their men's football sides.

They used it in Qatar 2022 and reached the semis.

They used it at U17 Afcon 2025 and won it vs a better Malian side.

They are using it at the U20 WC 2025 and are in the final.

This is the pattern they have adapted for their national teams at the world stage and it will be on display again by them at the U17 World Cup and ofcos at next year's 2026 WC.

Will Morocco employ this at the Afcon? Only against the top sides. They will utterly run riot on teams perceived to be smaller than them in quality. But time will tell.

Thank God for that fourth goal. Imagine we not making the playoffs after all that tremendous effort by Osimhen. It would have broken everybody.

Thank you Jesus for making short man Olakunle's head not to touch that ball and change it's flight trajectory.

🦅 Eintracht Frankfurt are keeping a close eye on the situation of Raphael #Onyedika.

#SGE were already interested in him last summer. The 24 y/o defensive midfielder from Club Brugge is on their shortlist — particularly because Hugo Larsson’s future remains uncertain.

The young Swede has attracted numerous enquiries, and a summer move appears likely.

in the last 5-6-7-8yrs any african team we beat suddenly become our enemy on social media and they start to heavily beef us and wish for the our downfall
SA
Ghana
Cameroon
Zambia
CIV(started during afcon group stage)
Morocco(wafcon effect)
Bfaso(playoff saga)
Lesotho
Zimbabwe
Angola(during afcon)
even tiny Benin don dey dey wish us bad…

But i observe if these teams face each other and beat themselves they dont hold that grudge/beef for long…like this now eehn all of them just gang up now dey hate anything Nigeria all over social media….wetin dey sup na….
Anyways i will blame super eagles generation from 2015 till date that has given most of these teams a head lifter that we are beatable hence whenever we beat them it pains them like we are not suppose to beat them…

Don't just go there. Lookman has been the star of his club, even after his Europa heroics, right up until he started having issues with his coach and the transfer saga, which has led to the psychological downturn currently affecting his form. The same happened to Osihmen until he found joy again in Turkey. We also know all sorts that were said about Osihmen right on this thread when he was going through all his travails.

If Osihmen's goals dry up again, so we will go back to what we are trying to do with Ademola now, abi. Nigerians na wa for una. Fair weather people!
the chances of osimhen goal drying up for super eagles is like a 1.01 odd ooo

Again you guys be careful what you wish for. It’s because chuks is in form we are saying this. When Lookman was in form doing great things for us we didn’t feel this way o
We all praised lookman when he was in form we all did.
To the extent of going to fifas SM handle to warn them abt denying him APOTY even tho it was a razz move we still did it.

Lookman is not in form remove all this sentiments. If he played that match in place of chukwueze we will struggle for 2 goals.

Nobody is saying he is a bad player , he is just not in form and i pray he gets it back soon

See this one. What is objective about your personal opinion?

You place yourself high above your value. Come down.

Nobody is objective in psychology.

Now, you claim Osimhen is indispensable. What about if he has injury or lose form or on suspension?

That's called extraneous variables that can alter your "objective" opinion.

My friend, Nobody is indispensable due to factors in football. Maybe you are a newbie to this industry. Welcome.

You should say like 100+ odds 🙄

For percentage:
The lower the percentage, the lower the chance.
The higher the percentage, the higher the chance.

For odds:
The lower the odds, the higher the chance.
The higher the odds, the lower the chance.

So, basically:
That 👆🏾 your statement means that 99% of the time, Victor Osimhen's goals for the Super Eagles will dry up.

Carry Chukwuemeka should be lured to play for SE. He is a natural CM and AMF. Iwobi can't do the job well.

N:B nobody is clamoring for Awoniyi now. I am just debunking lies.

I watched the Benin match again but I no see the otuniness wey dem talk about Olusegun.

Of course, I am not clamoring for him ooo. Though I noticed he he won the Russian league with his team last season to get the attention but I don't know his contribution. I will find out myself because I don't believe some people here.

Moreover, when Iwobi moved into the attacking midfield after Onye entered, he was poor.

His ball control and passes were atrocious.

We need a better AMF with good ball control and an eye for tailored passes.
