Honestly, CAF was right. Africa has at least 9 teams that can go to the WC and do well.

If you look at past WCQ from CAF, you’ll see some groups with Nigeria, Cameroon and Algeria.

Three of those nations alone are reputable countries for the WC.

Only Nigeria and Cameroon missed out on automatic qualification, and one of them could still make the WC.

In a perfect world in CAFs mind. The 10 countries to rep CAF at the WC:

Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, CIV, Morocco for auto qualification.

Then either B. Faso, SA, DRC or Mali as the playoff rep.

You want your strongest nations to represent you.

The ways those guys made it into the world cup is baffling.

That's to show that their AFCON run wasn't a fluke

in the last 5-6-7-8yrs any african team we beat suddenly become our enemy on social media and they start to heavily beef us and wish for the our downfall
SA
Ghana
Cameroon
Zambia
CIV(started during afcon group stage)
Morocco(wafcon effect)
Bfaso(playoff saga)
Lesotho
Zimbabwe
Angola(during afcon)
even tiny Benin don dey dey wish us bad…

But i observe if these teams face each other and beat themselves they dont hold that grudge/beef for long…like this now eehn all of them just gang up now dey hate anything Nigeria all over social media….wetin dey sup na….
Anyways i will blame super eagles generation from 2015 till date that has given most of these teams a head lifter that we are beatable hence whenever we beat them it pains them like we are not suppose to beat them…
Apart from Cameroon, Morocco and sometimes Ghana, we should be infuriated at the audacity of all the other teams to think they can banter with Nigeria in soccer, especially given our pedigree.

Dem don really see us finish.

Lol. I just watched it this morning sef. A lot of interesting insight in here. I know people love to pile on and castigate the 94 set, but if there's anyone among that set that I still regard to a tiny little extent, it's Oliseh. Mostly because he's articulate and knows how to make solid arguments.

Like they said, we shouldn't be celebrating the playoffs like it's a World Cup ticket. But given how abysmally we started the campaign, and our standings before the SA points deduction and Eritrea factor, it's a huge miracle that we're still competing for a spot at the mundial.

Also, I agree with his argument that the defense needs to be more tightened and disciplined.

dont know what Burkina's beef is with us. If you really think about it, even if we finished second with 21 points, our play off spot would still be secured as deduction would have left us at precisely the 15 points we used to scale through. Make dem dry their tears if dem don cry finish abeg.

You should say like 100+ odds 🙄

For percentage:
The lower the percentage, the lower the chance.
The higher the percentage, the higher the chance.

For odds:
The lower the odds, the higher the chance.
The higher the odds, the lower the chance.

So, basically:
That 👆🏾 your statement means that 99% of the time, Victor Osimhen's goals for the Super Eagles will dry up.

Well rounded conversation. Very measured talk.

I like that talk concerning the poor government attitude towards sports. I gasped when I heard players have not been paid bonus! Is it because they think the lads earn well? What a mad nation, who will deliver us from ourselves!
