OP, tell us what the wife is to benefit from mourning a man she literally dedicated her youth, time, and energy to, only for him to die in the arms of another woman?

Secondly, her actions indicate she is outrightly cutting ties with her husband's people. Possibly, that will be the last time they'll see her or the kids.
The way the husband died is shameful. The wife drawing attention to it by her actions, embarrasses her in-laws and her children. Of course there will be mourners at the burial who are not family and they will be wondering why the wife left. They will get to know the reason why and whatever positive memory they may have about the late husband, will vaporise.

Any woman who can openly disrespect and disregard her in-laws like that is a woman who never had much regard or respect for her husband in the first place..

But the husband can disrespect her😂 I believe it’s a thing of choice and if she doesn’t want to, then it’s justified cos it wasn’t agreed in the family that the man will be polygamous. As long as they weren't separated before any of them died... The other person must mourn without failure.

Failure to mourn a spouse kills faster than cancer...

There are people who have died misteriously or people who are suffering today simply because of some traditions they neglected.

Your spouse dies and you are sleeping with Someone else already without mourning

Your parents or sibling or spouse dies you haven't buried them and you are going to sympathise with other people who lost someone

As men would say, that they are polygamous in nature, a definition used to scatter the system as if God gave Adam 2 wives from onset.
