The Holy Roman Empire that was headquartered in Bavaria was the height of monarchies and it gave the world the greatest scientific and artistic breakthroughs.

The arts and architecture of that era are still standing today and considered as tourist traps.

Back home we had the Bini Empire whose capital Benin was adjudged by Portogesse explorers to be the best planned city state with a highly complex and civilized order that saw to zero crime and high prosperity rates among its people.

They know that our current democratic system can never get them to Aso Rock.

Back in 1965, our then intelligence services knew that there was a coup, and warned the leadership then, but nothing was done, and we know the result.

A lot of Nigerians also forget that in 1982, several people, both army and civillian were arrested for a planned coup. NSO basically infiltrated them and found them out before they could procced.

Even now, we have organisations like the DMI and the DSS that can probably sniff out plans for a coup

Having said that, most nigerians probably would be happy with a coup. But the thing is, from past experience, millitary rule always turns out to be a dissapointment.
