I blame the NFF and Finidi George for bathing us with spit.

On a normal day, when we want to talk of rivals, South Africa aren't even in the top 5 of African countries that we worry about in international competitions. They barely make top 10.

Our true rivals are: Cameroon, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, Egypt

Occasionally we also drag with: Algeria, Tunisia, Ivory Coast

Anyone after these nations are our kid brothers. We honestly should be paying them no mind.
.

Even Cameroon lately don become our wife, d only countries I fear are Morocco, Egypt and Senegal.

I swear if we beat Gabon-by God's grace-we will beat Cameroon black and blue.

Ivory Coast were lucky because it is their backyard I swear we no be their mate ooo.

South Africa’s Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie on Nigeria going to the playoffs

“I heard you earlier saying that we (South Africa) will also root for Nigeria,” McKenzie said in an interview shared on X by South African journalist Robert Marawa.

“I want to make it very clear: I wish for them not to qualify. I just want to make that one clear. They tried… I knew what they did behind the scenes. I want them to lose.

“Nigeria must not go to the World Cup. Another African country must go.”
See country that played 7 matches on home soil 😂 talking

Omo this Lesley Ugochukwu lad is a baller, why haven't NFF even tried to talk to him about playing for Nigeria?

Pundits in the house,

What's the deal with Gift Orban and why does he keep getting ignored? That dude is swift, skillful and pacey. What gives?

It honestly bothers (and annoys) me the amount of untapped potential and depth we have in the squad, and yet we keep relying on the same players over and over - sometimes to diminishing returns like in the case of Troost-Ekong
The answer is simple.... We don't want to upset the status quo.... You will start hearing things like who will he bench once a favorite player is involved.

But in all honesty... I hope the Benjamin Frederick sneak in has opened our eyes properly. We need coaching philosophy, team execution and less sentiments

You ignored the context.

This is a one leg (knockout) playoff, you can’t compare with qualifiers with up to 10 games home and away.

Too much social media and content creation.

Appearing on numerous skits. The guy is not serious with his football career.

Dude is an ex drug dealer/ ex convict who has a beef to pick with Nigerians. And this most likely has to do with drug related turf war in SA. Pay no mind to him. He also hates foreign nationals in South Africa

He is on the bench.
It is Samuel Chukwueze that's injured according to Livescore.

Good to see Awo get some action FINALLY this season. His first appearance since being put in an induced Coma back in May, earlier this year.

But I am more locked in on the Upcoming Serie A fixture, Pisa vs Hellas Verona.
Akinsanmiro vs Orban coming up and both are starting.
Same game I believe played a huge part in the sacking of Nuno.

Fulham might be losing but see the beautiful ball Iwobi is playing.

Why can't we pair Ndidi with Onyedika or Onyeka, instead of forcing Iwobi into a DM role that is clearly not his strongest suit?

The goalkeeper is back with the team after completing his two-month suspension for betting-related offences.

No African team performs consistently.
Nigeria blazed in 94 and got to the second round and since then has been stuck on the second floor.

Cameroon, Senegal, Ghana and recently Morocco have reached the Semi finals one time each.

But I do believe that we will perform very well this time around.
Only Morocco has reached the semifinals, whereas Cameroun, Senegal and Ghana only got to the Quarter-finals.

THAT IS ONE OF THE REASONS I REDUCED MY ENGAGEMENT ON THIS PARTICULAR THREAD: SOME INDIVIDUALS ARE SHAMELESS MYOPIC TRIBAL BIGOTS.

Change players and tactics etc?
