As someone who doesn't know anything about crypto. I left everything for him as I always saw how successful he was with crypto.

I gave him $218 and he promised that by November it will turn to $300+

Fast forward October 13th
I got a very sad news that the company I was doing remote job for in Canada has fired us and replace us with A.I

Then still in agony I called my friend to tell him to withdraw the $218 I gave him to trade for me and he told me crypto crash and he can only give me $38

After very heated call I had with him it seems he blocked my number!!!

Please what should I do
I'm literally feeling suicidal and lost all my money and don't know how to recover my $218

Please crypto people is there a way I can report him and have my money back.
I google crypto and they say it is crashing I have already lost my job. and I don't want to loss my money.

It is possible your friend may be telling u the truth. To be very honest The cryptto market has been very different this year. The mistake alot of people make is failing to tell others the risks involve with altcoins before they invest. They end up painting themselves as scammerss.

1.There was never a time crv was my biggest bag, it was one of. Most of my bags were memes.
2. I honestly didn’t lose on crv, I broke even with little profit and I think I talked about it here( you can search it). First entry was 0.9 or 1>, I bought all the way down to 0.37 or so, I broke even around 0.5-0.6.
3. Except eth/b n b, almost everyone holding any alt is currently at massive loss. The only way you’ll be in profit now on alts is if you bought at extremely low point( 99% of people didn’t) or if you kept dca especially after that flash crash across board( 99% of people didn’t cos they’re now broke.) even retails/normies were too afraid to get into the market cos of the crash . So in support of graceglory, technically , everyone on spot is currently at loss regardless of altcoin you’re holding minus eth/bnb.


Truth of the matter is, crypto is not what it used to be anymore, it’s not a matter of SKILL issues again. Abi which skill saw the last crash coming?.
Also narratives change daily now, no more diamond hands , coins are created every seconds, institutions are bidding only btc and eth, even normies will rather leverage btc/eth than hold alts on spot, even spot buyers barely hold anymore too, most will jeet at 20% profit. The last crash has discouraged traders, retails and noobs, So how do you expect coins to pump?.
Crv was a good coin, and under normal circumstance, buying it at any price he called was a good decision.. but market has changed.

Not to support your friend, but it’s very possible .
Infact, if he was trading future and he’s still able to come up with 38$ after what happened last week, then he’s a good person. 99% of leverage wiped out that day , the biggest liquidation ever in crypto.
Also if he’s into spot (which I doubt ) it’s still possible he lost it because some alts dumped 90% that very day and 99% of those coins have not recovered to that pre-crash point. ( don’t forget that recovering that fresh doesn’t mean profiting sha)😀
If he’s into Degen, infact i can bet my balls that the 38$ was from his pocket and not what your money remains 🙂. 99.9% wiped out that day.
I’m not throwing numbers around brother, check it out yourself.

I saw how much he made but then I wasn't to sure due to all the scam stories I heard about forex guys.
He made money from crypto I was there at his traditional wedding so I know how much he spent to organize it was made from crypto. So I trusted him very well to help me out in trading.
Since I don't have time to be learning trading I gave it him since he has so much experience
He told me that if I want to be like him I should have started trading with him back then. .after much convincing I gave him my last $218 to invest.
After I was sacked this month I decided to reach out to him to withdrawal the money and any profit interest it has. he tells me that crypto market is doing cycles. That I should wait till December which angered me and I told him I'm not doing again that he should withdraw the remaing money. To my shock he said it's $38 dollars that is left.

He has now bloavked me and I don't know if I should involve police or what I'm so shattered. My hard earned savings just go like that how can 218 dolls turn to 38.

See me thanking God for not falling for CBEX only for me to fall into crypto. Nonesense!!!!

In crypto trading, never ask how can a $218 turn to $38. During the crash of LUNA, I know someone whose $60,000+ became less than $58 ( I mean 5 8 that is less than $100).

Let me tell you, your friend might be a successful trader but it does not mean that he doesn't experience bad days. If you have not called him up, you might not know that he sometimes do have bad moments. The only mistake I think he made is telling you that $218 will become more than $400 in less than 3months. That is what I called gambling and not trading.

People like him is the reason GraceGlory always say '" I am not a gambler ".

Sometimes it is good to learn somethings before investing. At least it will let you know whether the marketer( your friend) is hyping his profit or not. It will help you to know the possibility of his claims. It will help you to make your own decision.

If you have no agreement with him when you gave the money, please give him time but make sure that he agrees to pay complete when the time reach. If you cannot wait, please collect the $38 and move on. Let it be one of your crypto investment life lesson
