JackDaAlienz:Nxt tym before giving your money to someone or take crypto advice from someone. Let it be someone you are sure is truly earning from crypto. The fact that someone spent lavishly, claiming that the money came from crypto, is not enough reason to believe him. The fact that someone always post only what you will like to read online, claiming he is the only one profiting from crypto while waiting for Altcoin season, is not enough reason to believe him. |

Several months ago I changed my objective in crypto from profit making to capital recovery meanwhile the market keeps dipping further and I'm still loosing money from the the capital I have left ![]() |

As from January 2026 apart from BTC there is nothing on the face of the earth that will make me invest my money in an altcoin that is not in the Top 20 |

LincolnOnyeabor:Seems you've changed style of trading. These ICT lingos are something I'm not familiar with what they meant, but if it gets the job done, then fire on. |
| Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by seanwilliam(m): 7:40pm On Oct 19, 2025 |
ElectronicMoney:Just stick to btc , with the current market condition there’s no difference bidding top 20 and top 500. If you check those coins in top 20, they’re down 60-80%. Except eth, sol and bnb, none of them have hit previous ATH. These people are extracting liquidity with alts. |

ElectronicMoney:Even the top 20 altcoins na risk Apart from Eth & bnb, the rest alts keep rotating & can fail at anytime. Ton was among top altcoins months ago, see where it is now. |
| Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by jayce232: 8:32pm On Oct 19, 2025 |
seanwilliam:I did some research few months ago & discovered most of the altcoins that peaked in 2017, couldn't make it back to one quarter of their 2017 ATH in 2021. A popular altcoin that did $1000+ in 2017, which everyone would think by now will be around $5k+ couldn't even attain a price of $200 in the peak of 2021 bull run. Today that coin is around $50. Since then I became very careful of alts. The worst mistake anyone can make is accumulating altcoins for long term, it is risky. Someone once said the only true coin is Bitcoinn, every other coin apart from Bitcoinn is being controlled by group of persons. Get into alts & leave immediately u see profits. Anything can happen among the developers, that is d risk. Imagine Mantra OM moving from $8 to $0.1 within a twinkle of an eye. |

GRACEGLORY:Even though the halving remains, the xpectations from the previous cycles, may not exist anymore. But one thing is certain, liquidity rotation (from STOCKS-BTC-GOLD-BTC-ALTS) hasn't changed. The number one rule of the game is, Patience. |

JackDaAlienz:I'm truly sorry you're going through this. Losing your job to AI is tough enough, and the added blow of losing money in the crypto crash must feel devastating. I know firsthand how hard it is to fall with no safety net. It's okay to feel angry, hurt, or scared right now, even thoughts of suicide are understandable in such moments. But please know you're not alone. The crypto market did crash hard around October 10-13, wiping out $19-20 billion in leveraged trades. Many portfolios took a hit, but there's a key difference: spot investments are tied to commodities and can recover over time, while leveraged trades are riskier bets that can lead to total losses. So, my question is: Was your money in spot or leveraged trades according your friend? If it’s in spot, and the tokens or coins are reliable, take ownership ASAP as your investment can will recover with time. But if it was leveraged, consider taking the $38 you have left and reinvesting in spot. I can’t predict how long it’ll take, but holding steady will pay off. As for your friend, try to forgive him. He was likely doing his best and didn’t foresee the crash, none of us did, though some of us expected a correction but not a flush as this. Don’t let this ruin a lifelong friendship. Emotions are intense now, but they’ll settle with time. This friendship might still be a lifeline for you or even your families in the future. Hold on, and don’t make decisions based on fleeting emotions. I know things are tough for you right now, but trust me, even this phase shall pass, this story shall be updated as you recover. If you need guidance on next steps or just someone to listen, I’m here. Take heart, dear bother. ❤️ |

GRACEGLORY:bro as in I did thanksgiving in church that I finally landed a remote job. My mama dance dance tire. Only for me to get fired and replaced with A.I this month Now I'm hearing my last line my last resort is also gone💔💔 It just feel like I was crush by Dangote truck on speed. The only lesson I have learnt is that nothing in this life is worth it. I think God made me travel out of warri If I was still in warri, i would have stormed his house and cause major chaos. Yes $218 might be chicken change to some people but that was my last resort!!!!!!!!!! My hard earned sweat😔😔 I starved myself and saved that money bit by bit. I trusted him because he was doing successful in crypto. That's all I know. How he does it I don't know. Even when I tried to inquire how he does it I still I could not grasp it. Hence I left it for him. Secondly he didn't tell me about the ridiculous risk in crypto. I needed explantation as what went wrong. Instead he blocked me I am a sports gambler and there is no way on earth you can loss $218 in sport betting unless the person is a big mumu. So how can a crypto expert loss such amount?? I still have hard time believing he lost all that money. It just don't make sense. Here I am Job lost, my last cash all gone❌❌❌ I can't even look myself in the mirror Lost everything. Life can be so brutal ![]() |

seanwilliam:Thanks for your response. I stick to my philosophy of making money: Produce a good and sell. Invest the profits in real estate and shares of formidable companies. I don't know why, but I have never been at ease with crypto. Maybe because I missed out on the first cashout wave or upbringing. Good luck to those involved. |

JackDaAlienz:I’m sorry you lost your job and also your money. Crypto traders got real liquidated 2 weeks ago and I’ll not be wrong to believe that your friend got liquidated too. Not just yours alone but also a good part of his portfolio hence the trigger to block you. Try to come to an agreement with him first, give him sometime to fulfill the agreement too and hopefully, you’ll get your money back. But if after sometime and he still fails to acknowledge your attempts to reach out to him for an agreement, then you can take other actions. Stay blessed up. |

| Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by MamaFutures: 9:35am On Oct 20, 2025 |
Discouraging people from leverage trading, simply because you have no knowledge about it, is not a good behavior (the behavior is bad & infectious). And encouraging people to keep holding on to their spot position (or bag of Altcoin), with the hope that one day it would eventually pump to their entry price, is not also a good behavior (the behavior is also bad & infectious). You can't explore your full potential nor be profitable on a year to year basis with the above bad behaviors. |

GRACEGLORY:For 3 good days (72 hours), straight up, only thing I had my focus on and all attention on was blockchain and crypto. Studying, and researching for indepth understanding. And thereafter, I got on exchanges, and began what has come this far today... I'm not going back here. I had an idea of the cost, so I chose from the beginning that I won't gamble for quick gains that wipes away money. I've survived, Mt. Gox Hack, the DAO hack, LUNA collapse, FTX collapse, 3AC/Voyager/Celsius bankruptcies, Trump Tariff liquidation, and the recent market flush. I'm still here, I won't back down. Success requires complete dedication and a commitment to move forward without wavering, without letting doubts or setbacks cause you to waver or quit. The question is, are you doing it right ❓ |

GRACEGLORY:We respect you bro. This is the 100th time you are calling for altcoin yet it has not materialise. Anyone that heeds to your erratic Altcoins calls and bought anytime you shill altcoin must have lose at least 50% of his portfolio. If there's anything that even the dumbest of us should learn this season is that altcoin are never good for holding, it is only good for short time trade, even at that no one should risk more than 10% of his portfolios in Altcoins. With the cycle likely in its final days and risk of inflation coming back, it is ridiculous to be selling people hopium that they will have massive gain in altcoins. People already got burnt several times in Altcoins, so retail might not come back in drove to pump our bag like 2021 |
| Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Babalakin(m): 3:36pm On Oct 20, 2025 |
GRACEGLORY:COPIED 📉 Altcoin fatigue hits new lows A basket of the top 50 altcoins is now trading below the levels seen right after the FTX crash in 2022, even while Bitcoin remains above $100K. ➡️ BTC dominance keeps climbing as liquidity stays trapped in majors ➡️ Most alts have erased the entire 2023–24 recovery ➡️ Market sentiment looks exhausted despite macro strength The rotation never came. Altseason is officially a ghost story.
