A good one coming from the administration of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) Now, the bar needs to be raised to curtail influx into universities. That way, schools will be more efficient in sharpening their student to best academic standards. JAMB cut-off mark should be increased to minimum of 260. If 1000 is graduating every year, let it be 1000 competent graduates that will stand anywhere in the world. Student who cannot meet 3.0 CGPA after two academic sessions should be transferred to polytechnics. |

If you can’t pass o levels maths, your parents wasted their money for fees . C grade is the minimum expectation of anyone that sent 6 years in secondary school. |

Mathematics is a vital subject n allowing humanity or Arts students to get a pass for admission may not spell good for the nation..matter arising o. I won't be surprised if those from the North will ask to make Arabic a compulsory subject ![]() |

Meaning one can register but not required to get a credit if he's an arts student. But then, who wouldn't struggle to get a credit in their subjects? |

I believe that the minister of education has relatives that are very weak in mathematics and they have been begging him to do something that will make them gain admission. Now it has backfired. The fool is trying to save face. Idiotic people in government |

It should have been this way; MATHS 1 ( simple maths for the arts) and MATHS 2( for science, tech ,engineering and Maths{ STEM} students). Then all are required to get a minimum of C grade in any maths subjects/course. |
