Is Tinubu's govt now telling us that a former civilian governor has a great influence on the Nigerian army to the point of instigating a coup?
Hope this won't be an avenue for politically witch hunting the opposition figures like Peter Obi, Aregbesola?

I understand your point though. But I need to inform you that all the traits you mention are embedded in the current candidate you are supporting right now. I’m pretty sure you did not know Bobo Chicago. He is a two-face person. He will pitch his tent with oppressors and another tent with the oppressed all because of his personal ambition, an anti-Robbinhood who steal from the poor to benefit his circle because he may demand undue favour from his circle. Someone that share gift like a Devil which you may eventually pay the prize in a regrettable way not mind the people you’re meant to serve. I bet you don’t know the candidate you support. We know him wella. I have a very reliable source who knows all the dirty secrets of your candidate

1.This is getting more and more interesting. Now Daily Trust, which is a respectable newspaper, is reporting there was or may have been, or allegedly, a coup in the works.

2.Former Southern governor....involved. Looks like 1982 is back...

3.And then, DT says officers haven't been named, when allegedly, the names are out there

4.Still, I won't wish a coup on nigeria...if we want change, either we get a united opposition effort to win in 2027, or a revoultion led from the ground up by the people, with a refusal to allow it to be hijacked by the elites or the army. Simple and short.
I knew it was legit ever since premium times published it. Sahara na 50/50 grin

Ok.o. You and the tinubu supporters are alike. Really..

Those wishing for coup are children who hasnt witness one before and dont read to know their history. thinking that the country will be better under military is thinking a fish will do well on land. imagine how freedom of speech will be, if its like this under civilian rule. at least you know your representatives and you can challenge them when there are issues, in military rule no one gives a dam about you. someone from sokoto can be sent to rule your state and you can either corporate with him or get kicked out without explanation and if you are unfortunate you can get kicked out of life with any repercussion. for those saying there will be security go and read your history very well, with all the brutality of the military rule of buhari in 1983-1985, babangida brutality from 1985-1993 abacha from 1993 to 1998 and obasanjo who was a military turn civilian ruled from 1999 - 2007, all their rule combine could not calm niger delta militancy it took yar adua and jonathan less than 2years to stop it or at least reduce it to bearest minimum. with the kind of oppressor spirit wey dey africa, military rule will only take us back
Which lamba b dis , Niger delta hostilities began in 2005

Hehehe.

This is one of those news to distract us from the reality on ground. People are hungry and inflation is bitting us harder, let the government fix the economy and stop all these propaganda.

Something as big as a coup was prevented since 1th of October and today is 20th and nothing has been done.

Even the army is denying it too,and please don't tell me it's all about investigation, because if it's so, most people involved would have flee the country by now.
What should have been done?

The government in power should as well conduct free and fair election and not victimize electorates or bribe eye-neck officials for undue favour. No one trust APC. You guys are just saying what comes to your mind because of what you people are benefiting. APC and bobo Chicago are anything call evil coterie
Is an election only free and fair when your preferred candidate wins? A presidential election where Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso had over 13 million votes between them vs. 8.9 million of the winner is not free and fair? Where PDP, SDP and Labour party had over 100 legislators is not free and fair? Where five ex-governors lost their senatorial ambitions is not free and fair?

You see how you limited Nigeria woes to APC forgetting that everything we have witnessed under APC--including opposition intimidation, electoral fraud, sole administrator nonsense--also happened under the PDP. Or have you forgotten so soon OBJ's sham election of 2003 and 2007 where even late president Yar'Adua expressed his disappointment and pledged to do better? Or is it how Fayose won his second term election and the role Obanikoro played? Or how GEJ haunted the current president with different courts? I know your rebuttal would be the usual "should we continue doing something because it happened in the past?" Well, there again I call the hypocrisy because the APC you guys are always quick to bring into discussions--at least the APC of 2015 - 2023--is also in the past!

What I can tell anybody wanting to fight for Nigerians is that, don't. Save your energy for yourself and loved ones. Most criticisms lacks sincerity and are born out of envy of the "choppers" anyway, and not the need for positive change. Also, Nigerians are party-people and have favourites among the same politicians that got us into this mess.

All the traits I mentioned embolden in Tinubu you say?

I want you to tell me where Tinubu ever showed tribalism traits since he became the president in comparison to Buhari and even our brother Gej.

Show me where Tinubu showed bigotry in religion or regional?

Show me where Tinubu supported expansionist?

Show me where Tinubu acted hypocritical?

Show me where Tinubu openly support separatist or terrorist?

Show me where Tinubu ever tell lies?

Give me the list with a proof. I'm waiting..

You think even if there is a coup it is to do your bidding lol?

The army also want to have direct access to the honeypot call Nigeria Treasury it is not because they want to do your stupid bidding

If a coup ever happened in Nigeria let me tell you the first thing the military head of state will do is to shut down the Internet in Nigeria, they won't want riffraffs commenting rubbish on the Internet.
There is internet in Mali, Guinea and Burkina Faso. Make una slow down dey lie.

You are asking for tribalism traits when he resumed office. Look at the skewed nature of all his appointments. That one is enough proof

You never lived under army rule, old boy. That's why you have a rose tinted view of it.

Army rule was just as corrupt and bad as civillian rule.

Also, most of you abuse the army for being boko haram run and infiltrated, and being in cahoots with fulani herdsmen, and this is the same army you want to rule you? Right.
