Morocco alongside Ivory Coast and Senegal are my favorites to win the Afcon this December. If Nigeria can get to semifinals that will be awesome 😂 by today’s super eagles standards

Maybe not the best squad overall, but if na CBs, leave am for them.

Singo na another beast and na from bench he dey come play for them.
Even Evan Ndicka sef na Ivory coast.

Their Attack of Amad Diallo, Evan Guassend of Villa, Adingra and Sabastine Haller is solid. But yeah for example Nigeria has a better attack than them.
Midfield I will give it to Senagal, Canerooon too has some mad midfield combo of Frank Zambo Anguisa and Carlos Baleba

if dem leave scouting for you na em be say players from Ogbomosho go full super eagles
Really!? Where were you when I said Dele Ali was better than Iwobi even when e was nobody in Tottenham?

Where were you when I said Lookman was better than she Chuks or one player like that those days? What are seeing today?

Where were you when I said Oliseh was world class player and better than all our players combined when he was still an academy player? What are we seeing today?

Where were you when I said Eze was a top class player when he was nobody with Onomah (although I also said he was a very good player but the boy fall hand)? Today you can see with your eyes.

Where were you when I said Kelechi Nwakali with his style wasn't good enough? But then you and others fought me nail and tooth.

When all of you said Awoniyi can never make it in football when he was in second division, I was the only one that had a different view.

I could remember when Aina was dropped for the World, you said he wasn't good enough but today we can see with our eyes.

I use my eyes and data to analyze players before sticking my head for them. Unlike you that can never point out one player your vouched for that eventually became successful.

I could still remember Iheancho and Solanke debate but today we can see with our eyes.

I will never be in support of dual nationality players crashing the party only when its convenient for them to do so. It's opportunistic, parasitic and could spoil team chemistry and cause disunity in the squad.

I recall this same dude was asked about playing for Nigeria 2 years ago, and he said, (I paraphrase) "at the moment I'm focused on playing for England but lets see what the future holds which is a subtle way to turn us down.

The guy no even better pass Iwobi for AM. Iwobi is a better orchestrator and passer. The issue with Iwobi is wrong deployment, midfield partnerships and formation by our National team coaches which negatively impacts on his output.

We can do without him. Between Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Wilfred Ndidi, Fisayo Dele Bashiru, Chrisantus Uche, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Alhassan Yusuf, Anthony Dennis and even Samuel Chukwueze we have enough players to cover in midfield.

Any dual national who wants to play for Nigeria should do like Ashleigh Plumptre, Alex Iwobi, Cyriel Dessers, Ademola Lookman, William Troost-Ekong etc and come out to declare their interest with their full chest, not use Nigeria as Plan B.

If they didn't declare interest and commitment when the work was being done, they shouldn't benefit from it by going to the world cup.

Make hin wait until after the world cup when the next AFCON qualifiers will begin, no be now.
I hope you know Lookman once turned us down? He only agreed to join ahead of 2022 WC

this one no concern ghana. When the coach was asked about the gate crashers to their team, he said " it will be taken on a case by case basis". Its the normal african way. Shebi that is how pinick asked begged tammy abraham to come play for us with a free world cup slot after the players had worked for the slot during the qualifiers.

I did not make reference to Ghana and I do not see the correlation to my post. The Tammy Abraham example you cited only reinforces my stance.

We have a solid unit and should focus on hitherto uninvited players without divided loyalties like Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Anthony Dennis etc

I doubt Caney Chukwuemeka, Lesley Ugochukwu, Noni Madueke etc will turn down Super Eagles invitation now because we are almost at the World Cup.

After the world cup, we can invite these dual national players to take part in the AFCON qualifiers and ascertain their commitment. Trust me, many of them no go show up.

Morocco hasn't won anything yet but the whole world acknowledges that they are onto something.
And they are as they've won the under 20s. Just as SA are on to something.

Cameroun's midfield is all brawn and sideways passing please. No creative spark. I watched them struggle vs Angola in their last WCQs game. Angola hit the post 2x or so. Zito Luvumbo was hard to contain for the Camerounians.

CIV's attack is not tops.

Meanwhile the past weekend events is not complete without giving a shout out to Cesc Fabregas and Como in Serie A.

Beating Juventus 2-0 and in the manner they did was absolutely a sight to watch. Real Madrid's Nico Paz who is on loan at Como keeps proving why he is the best young player in Serie A at the moment. Special lad.

TheGoodJoe, we have said this before on Fabregas. What he is doing with Como is so exciting. The story keeps unfolding.

Congratulations Morocco.

The main reason I'm so happy for their victory is that they've taken away Ghana's bragging rights of being the only African nation to ever do it.

Come to think of it, how did we lose so heavily to these same Argentina? Morocco just demystified them.
Fire brigade and paddy paddy approach. No more ,, no less. Small time we go dey make noise say our coaches need to be UEFA certified. Same people will use nepotism scatter everything. I watched the U20 team and I was forced to ask if they actually were the best in the whole of Nigeria. Let NFF be playing bingo with our Football. The result will always show.

As I said sometime ago, we should shut down anything football in Nigeria and do a 5 year reset of all structures. Away from Caf and Fifa grade competitions. Enough of trying to reward failed politicians with positions in Sports Administration.... Imagine Remo stars losing 5-1 at home to Sundowns. They were practically chasing shadows in the match. Shame catch me, I switch TV to another channel. Abi we go blame CAF for that one too? Instead of us to focus on our league and build it properly so that we can identify young talents, na so so foreign born we dey chase. Time will tell just how far backward we have gone.

I like the part of na so so foreign born we dey chase: a case of laxity and ineptitude on the part of the Coaches and NFF and that is not to say that some foreign born are not excellent nor is it to say that some commit after lack of European option but the craze for foreign born is worrisome.

Baleba played too vs Angola. Part of the creativeless Cam Midfield. Baleba is good defensively and offers decent passing, has good workrate but that is it. He is no Pirlo or Pogba.
