ChrisKels:There is no contradiction, From U17 level Men and Women, they poach them from academies and clubs scattered all over Europe. These clubs and academies developed these players. |

TheSuperNerd:this thing na turn by turn…all this people doing development bla bla bla, taking over Nigeria bla bla are just being petty…in as much as i know that teams are on the rise and developing to become powerhouses, that one na for their pocket….Nigeria will keep on representing Africa at the global stage…the super eagles from Eric chelle’s june qualifiers will breeze all those minnows including SA if we had started the qualifiers with seriousness…chooping and changing coaches with players unseriousness and Osimhen absence is keepng is where we are today….if morocco like they should reach world cup final or SA like they should play back to back fifa club world cup, they cant dethrone perennial powerhouses… Nigeria still represents africa at U20, U17, both male and female…we are not winning trophies now is simply becos we are not the only team in africa, some other country will/should also step up to win it….wait let another country win Wafcon and see folks here saying other teams have caught up with us and we are no longer powerhouses….asif them do trophy for only Nigeria…there is a reason why Nigeria 🇳🇬 is 5th in africa…that shows our consistency as powerhouses of african football… there was a time ghana was qualifying like water to knock out stages at the world cup,but the past 3 editions(2014 group stage), 2018(didn’t qualify) 2022(group stage)…..NFF has being corrupt from time immemorial, that didn’t stop us from winning plenty Afcons,u17 wc, u20 wc success, senior world cup good runs, back to back wafcon trophies…. The only thing shaky and rotten to me in Nigeria is our football league….The rest of africa can do 100yrs development plan, they cant lace the boot of Nigeria’s aura and presence in africa… Any african team wey qualify and win any trophy good for them, na their turn they wont even remain there for more than 5yrs…. Just gather boys wey sabi play ball from all over the world including local based and see Nigeria breezing past teams….no b mercenaries cape verde use qualify to world cup?….which development plan did they do? Togo and Angola that went to 2006 WC don return back to their ekuke level |

TheSuperNerd:I don't even count 2010 for SA because if it weren't for hosting rights, they wouldn't even smell the competition. The last tournament SA qualified for properly for the WC by playing against other African teams was in 1998. Lol. It's been nearly three decades since then, and they only managed to qualify this time by playing 90-95% of their games at home. 🤣🤣 |

Cocony:There are high chances of Nwabali's consistent errors putting paid to our dream of qualifying hence my choice of Maduka Okoye. Semi Ajyi's suspension for me needs an Ekong recall. Let Fredrick continue his good work at the Right full back. Creativity in the midfield is where a Chidera Ejuke comes in instead of starting Alex Iwobi. Fisayo is a good midfielder and can play to instructions from a coach either assisting the DM of the team or advancing forwards and he has same kind of positive vibe for success like Akor in Attack. Please kindly criticize constructively and make your own variations. |

Cocony:I wonder how many more unsatisfactory performances and unintentional howlers Troost Ekong must commit before you people finally realize that the man is past his prime and should be eased into retirement. I won't mind Olisa Ndah starting as CB to be honest. |

Cocony:Nwabali ahead of Okoye who just came back from a ban Keep Ekong away from the team. Play Bassey and Frederick. Give the RB position to Osayi or Awaziem - I don't rate either of them though. Ejuke plays football like a secondary school boy. Discard him for Lookman and warn Lookman sternly to stop trying to be the hero. Dele Bashiru goes to the Bench for Iwobi. If Lookman fails to heed to the advice, pull him out after the first 45minutes and push Iwobi to the left and introduce Bashiru. Allow Chuks to roam between RW and AM |

Ha untop wetin Aina himself talk!? Jokes apart Adingra hasn't quite shown enough of that AFCON final form or maybe Ola's injury gave the false impression the Ivorian is all that. The more I remember how many of our players were carrying knocks in that final the more I fit almost swear for JP. Nwabali, Ekong, Zaidu, Aina, Osimhen omo we try o. TheSuperNerd: |

elyte89:Your opinion is noted. I ask this in view of your opinion: Taking their past let's say 4 matches both for the National team and their clubsides who would you rather have start as your DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER between Wilfred Ndidi, Fred Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika? Constructive ideas only not sentiment. |

ChrisKels:I love your analysis with exceptions of NWABALI, OSAYI AND AWAZIEM ON THE BASIS OF PERFORMANCES IN THEIR LAST 4 NATIONAL TEAM AND CLUBSIDE INPUT. EJUKE MIGHT BE AN UNKNOWN ACE UP OUR SLEEVES FOR BETTER SPLIT ACCURATE PASSES TO DELIVER GOALS. |

Cocony:Going by ndidi recent performance,I will pick him ahead of any oda options we have .. Onyedika would have been a better option for me if we re a team dt possess d ball a lot but wout d ball ,onyedika is minus one to d team while onyeka is d opposite of onyedika …very useful off the ball most especially when we want spoilers to tackle and win d ball ..but with d ball ,onyeka is minus one to d team….and we av ndidi, still more balanced off and on the ball..at least better Dan onyeka on d ball and off d ball better Dan onyedika . |

Mujtahida:Sorry but Oliseh has said it repeatedly to say it goes against the grain of his philosophy. He might have built his ideas on the pillars of offensive possessive play but there is a side to Oliseh that has repeatedly called for adopting a negative approach. |

Cocony:Lol this is the wrong time to change a goalkeeper. Psych up Nwabali and we are good. If we qualify, then during the scrimmages or world cup preparations you introduce Okoye. Osayi though clueless will do better in the RB position than the now very slow Ekong would as a CB. Unless I'm playing 3 at the back, Ekong won't start for me. |

typicalgamer:In case you don't know and correct me if I am wrong Only Ejuke and Okoye did not partake in getting to this point. It is similar to kicking against the presence of Akor Adams in the Lesotho game. Fisayo scored 2 important goals in his appearances for the Super Eagles and barring injury is a better option as a supporting midfielder. For me it is Ejuke ahead of Iwobi for the Gabon Match. Mind you , the NFF and Coaching crew have the final say. |

Morocco U17s have released their list for the 2025 Fifa U17 WC. I would be fanning them ofcos most especially as Naija no dey. Maroc and the Malians.✅️ MF, Abdellah Ouazane of Ajax. MVP at the U17 Afcon is still the main lad to watch in that Moroccan side alongside a couple others. Fifa U17 WC kicks off November 3. For Nigeria, we would not even be at the next U17 WC in 2026 no thanks to our 3rd place WafuB finish which denies us a place at the 2026 U17 Afcon. So our plan should be towards 2027 U17 Afcon and 2027 FIFA U17 WC. We gotta appoint the right heads/hands and prep hard to blitzkrieg the 2026 Wafu B U17. |

ChrisKels:At the 1994 qualifiers for the World cup despite not CONCEDING a goal against SouthAfrica and Congo where Alloy Agu and Peter Rufai held sway and scoring 7, Westerhof and Bonfrere had to invite Agbonavbare for the next set of qualifiers what did you think could have been their reasons in retrospect? For me it was the likelihood of Agu faltering on the bigger podium while that of Rufai not featuring against Cote D'Ivoire and Algeria I cannot decipher. |

Cocony:How often do you watch Nwabali to make this assertion that his club performance has been subpart? Nwabili has been doing excellently well for his club, his teammates are not just good enough and that's why they are last on the table. Nwabili usually makes atleast 3 saves per matches and he recently saved a 90mins penalty that helped his club to a draw |
