That’s at best manslaughter not murder. Murder implies intent. It will be difficult to prove murder if she has a good lawyer.

1) they must prove intent to kill
2) a 9 yr old child is capable of getting out of the car

Negligence is not murder that’s why the charge should be manslaughter. In fact I doubt she can be charged for manslaughter. She will likely be charged for negligent homicide.

Yes she will be arrested, that is normal but I doubt she was charged for murder, I think this is typical nigerian journalists murdering the English language.

When you are in obodo oyibo and you are just starting out these are the risks you will face.

She was working in a factory, which means she was already at the lower end of the salary earning scale. And in obodo oyibo 8 hours is 8 hours,esp of you are a foreigner.

Back in the 80s in the uk my parents had to pay people to mind us when they went to work. And they were earning well. Even so there was a couple that used to beat us. A nice lady that smoked.

You don’t need the key fob to open the door using the buttons inside the car!

I said go and try it before you respond to me again.

Let me explain something to you. No car will pass certification if you cannot open the car from inside without the key or key fob. It is considered a safety hazard.

You won’t be able to open from outside without the key but you MUST be able to open from inside or else the Car will NOT be approved for sale to the public.

Like I can if you don’t have a car borrow your friends car and experiment.

I took time to contact someone who I have seen do it for hours and still almost same with what I said earlier.

He said you just have to central lock the car with child lock activated and take the fob away.

He told me they would only be able yo open the front door if they pull the lever twice and won’t work on first attempt.

Thank me cos I made several calls before getting his attention.

The answer he gave you was based on what you told him. I am not sure you even understand what you should ask him.

I have told you all cars are designed such that you can open the doors (except the rear door which child lock activated) from the inside whether the key is present or not.

It is a global standard safety design feature. You can’t to keep people out of your car not trapped inside. So cars are designed so you can always get out. In fact some cars are designed so you can escape if locked in the boot.

You clearly dont have a car like I said or you won’t be asking someone. Go and find yourself a car and try it and please don’t respond to me wasting my time until you have. I don’t care what your friend Jelili said, this has nothing to do with child lock or no child lock. All car doors can be opened from the inside without the presence of the key fob. If the child lock is activated the rear doors won’t open but the front doors will.

I repeat Don’t respond to me until you have physically verified tried it yourself. I am not interested in what Jelili told you!
