WizardOfNG:Don't mind them, they actually think people take them seriously. Tinubu government was bad to them even before he became president. His government will still be bad even if Nigeria becomes the leading economy in the world under his watch. |

CSTRR:After 2031, Yorubas have no business or right to be president till 2071. However I have told you this thing before 2055 is not assured for the ibos if they keep playing the type of politics they play and electing the kind of leaders they elect. If you still insist on this nzogbu nzogbu politics, a Yoruba man can take it from you again in 2055. I am not an advocate of such a move but I am just warning you. 2039 is going to the SS. As for VP the idea of a Yoruba VP in 2031 is ridiculous, anyone suggesting such is either winding you up or delusional. Again I advice you people, get your leadership right. It’s one thing for your turn to come, it’d another for you to be prepared. That it is the turn of the south or the Se does not mean the country will trust the stewardship to a clown. The SE have the worst set of politicians in the country. Sort out the caliber of people you elect to offic3 so that as they rise others will be comfortable electing them as president. Opportunity must go hand in hand with preparedness. The reason why Tinubu will win is largely because when the time for the south came, the rest of the country is not comfortable with the person you have put forward to champion your cause…Obi. You blew the 2023-2031 opportunity because of the person you put forward. In politics your opinion does not matter, what matters are the opinions of the people you need to cross the line of victory. If you like listen, if you like abuse, ignore and continue walking the same path that has brought nothing. You go for an interview, let’s say a visa interview, you queue, when your number is called, it is your right to be seen by the interviewer. The system has done its part by giving you a fair chance to be interviewed. However if on getting to the interview stage, you don’t have the documents required, that’s on you….you went to an interview unprepared…don’t blame the system. Interview over and the guy behind you takes your slot. |

casualobserver:Bullshit. Obi got 6 million votes in labour party. The difference between obi and tinubu was just 2 million votes. That's just the votes of one northern state. They won the equal number of states despite running on vastly different political parties in terms of political machinery. The last time tinubu supported a candidate that ran on a vastly inferior party called the ACN, he lost woefully. What obi did in 2023 was proof of concept. The pdp knows it, which is why they want him back by all means. Tinubu got the lowest number of votes of any president since 1999 by percentage. The vast majority of Nigerians are definitely not comfortable with such a character being president. If obi and atiku can sort out the difference and run on a single ticket, they would be the next residents in aso rock in 2027. |

CSTRR:Like I said you never learn. Obi as deputy to Atiku is not the same as Obi heading a ticket. The majority of Obi’s votes are ibo votes. He has peaked. Unfortunately for you and for him, you don’t dictate to those whose votes you need. As I always say, beauty only matters if the object of your affection sees beauty in you. You can call yourself beautiful till the cows come home, you can’t define what is beautiful to me. Again have a field day arguing, you have plenty of time till 2055 to see the light. Please let me also state there is nothing that says an Ibo must be president. There are more than 400 tribes in Nigeria. If an Ibo never becomes president Heaven will not fall! You are not going to bully, agitate, protest or blackmail your way to the presidency. The presidency of this country is earned! It is a position of trust and goodwill, It is not a right! Is an Ibo man more Nigerian or more entitled to the presidency than the kalabari, ijaw, efik, andoni, anyima, igbira, urhobo, esan or ibibio who are just a few of the tribes from the south but have never led this country? After all you’ve been head of state twice! As far as Atiku, I remember having this dialogue with you and I am sure you are seeing it play out. What I told you then is that it is not in the interest of the true power brokers in the North for Atiku to become president in 2027. You can do a history search and read it again. It is playing out before you. No sitting governor has joined Atiku, in Benue the state of ADC chairman, they are all defecting, in Kaduna of ElRufai they are all defecting. Atiku and Obi commited the biggest political blunder in 2023. It’s over for them politically. Even if they come back together they will lose. Atiku under PDP is different from Atiku in ADC. If you want to know Atiku’s true pull, look at his votes when he contested under ACN. He only got 8% of the votes. His votes in the last 2?elections were PDP votes not Atiku votes. They are not transferable to ADC just like he wasn’t able to transfer them when he ran under ADC! In the history of this country post 1999, substantial organic votes belong only to 4 people, Tinubu, Buhari, Obi and to a lesser extent Kwakwanso. Everybody else it is party votes that is propping you up. I have said it elsewhere on Nairaland Obi has more organic votes than Atiku. You are clearly not a very good reader of Nigerian politics. |

Other tribes will make this declaration by the time bulaba is done with Nigeria. You will understand why Azikiwe and balewa agreed to keep them away from the centre. |

MrColdsweat:Keep deluding yourself. Per the terrorist lunacy you SE lot and the maniacs up North have inflicted on our nation, Nigeria is now officially one of the most terrorised nation of the world. The USA, UK and co will not hesitate to enter Nigeria if the sane regions like the SW and SS, seen as the good people out of a very bad nation, begin to be disruptive like you lot and Northerners. You are both essentially socio-economically disruptive minuses to Nigeria right now while the globally treasured and valued regions of Nigeria are the SW, SS and NC. Think about your real worth today to Nigeria, which is more or less zero, before you start fantasizing childishly about ostracizing the region, along with the SS and Middle Belt, that happens to be the only positive and uplifting thing about Nigeria today and for the foreseeable future. Did we have Boko Haram, lakuwara, ISWAP, militant Fulani herdsmen and bandit plus IPOB, UGM, Autopilot etal, that you people and Northerners alone are responsible for, in the days of Azikiwe and Balewa? You people just never think before you start projecting your malevolent fantasies as reality |

truthera:The way some of you talk ehn...you make us question your education! So, how come Buhari is not the last Fulani president but in your estimation Tinubu is the last Yoruba president ? Oh, your mouth no reach there? Abi Nigerians will now ONLY vote a Kanuri, an Idoma or a Kalabari man? |
| Re: Bola Tinubu: The Last Yoruba President Of Nigeria? A Nation's Betrayal by WizardOfNG: 8:04pm On Oct 21, 2025 |
Rebelutionary:I really don't understand them and their megalomaniac arrogance. The SE and core North are the agents of terror, insecurity and socio-economic instability responsible for many nations of the world issuing monthly or even weekly travel advisory notifications to their citizens about where they must not visit in Nigeria. Somehow, in their warped mind, it is possible to sideline political leaders from the regions giving life and glory to Nigeria currently, so that the Presidency can be dominated by Fulanis and Igbos the world understands, based on cold facts available, are the most problematic and destructive ethnic groups of Nigeria today. These 'projector' people are just a joke. They simply dream up fantasies and project it as reality with no respect at all for facts and reality on ground. |
