BascoVanVeli:Thanks so much Basco. People can talk shaa. So they actually established a fallacy that a FIFA Rated Referee didnt blow his whistle and then allowed Nigeria to get away with that Mounie moment? I knew the ref blew but I had no video evidence except that the ref cant make a mess this basic in a high profile WCQs fixture. And yes, that slight touch save with the score at 3-0. Overshadowed by Nwabali's confrontation in the first half with that Benin forward. Again, people and their sense of focus. Honestly, like I always say, people will say anything in the name of agenda. Top Video review My Man 🙌🏽

If you seriously think people are only criticizing Nwabali because of bias or favoritism, in spite of the ACTUAL recent events that even materialized the debate in the first place, then I don't know what else to tell you. It's hard to discuss topics like this when people who are simple-minded, to put it lightly, insist on making everything about agendas and sentiments. Apparently, it's a crime now to point out legitimate concerns about certain players. This is why Nigerian football is crumbling in all cardinal directions, with no limit in sight - because people would rather engage with imaginary issues rather than face the reality at hand. At least make an actual argument for your case instead of trying to assume the motives of honest and concerned fans. THIS is how to make your case. Rambling about imaginary favoritism is no different from people who make everything about tribe or champion the quota system rubbish. Let's be guided abeg. |

Update on "maestro" Out of favour Nigeria international midfielder Kelechi Nwakali has been told he stands no chance of playing for English League One side Barnsley by head coach Conor Hourihane. Nwakali fell out of favour at the club after returning late from his holiday in Nigeria, and was told to look for another club during the summer transfer window with two years left on his contract. Speaking to the Barnsley Chronicle, Hourihane said: “Do I see him breaking back in? Probably not if I am being totally honest. It’s the same message from the summer. We’re looking for the best scenario for club and player. I probably don’t see him fitting into the way we want to play – being really energetic, aggressive and high-tempo.” |

Cocony:Again, this post inadvertently proves my point. I still cannot fathom why you feel so hurt because your football opinion is challenged. Perhaps, your age has something to do it with it, because I deduce you're an "oldie" because of your reference to Super Eagles matches of the 80's, and you think no one should challenge your opinions. If na so, forget am!. Here na public forum, and people go everly counter your opinion and accuse you of pushing an agenda as they deem fit. Develop a thick skin, keep an open mind, stop viewing counter posts as an affront to your football knowledge and you'll enjoy this thread. Best regards. |

semid4lyfe:Another wrong assumption. Being an oldie or young person has no direct bearing with stating truths and facts and quashing wrong illogical statements branded as agenda. By the way, I am not hurt and when I posted my ideal first 11 for the Gabon game I said constructive criticisms are welcome so how did you come up with the idea that I feel I should not be challenged? On the contrary,it is some self-imposed experts and their lackeys (that brand themselves as been on Nairaland for a longer period) that suggest by their statements and counters that feel they should not be challenged. |

QueenJazz:Charles Anazodo made more sense that is progressive as per continuity. The grey headed brother doubts Chelle's competence (which has been proven for taking us to the point of playoffs as it could have been worse on the hands of Peseiro or Finidi). |

QueenJazz:The case of Justin Madugu's delayed appointment is one borne out of arrogance and indecision on the part of NFF. Something in their minds tells them it will be a stroll in the pack over the Beninoise. If they knew they were meeting the Ghanaians or South Africans at this stage and not the Beninoise, they would have long appointed a permanent manager for the Falcons and opened camp long before now. |

Arsenal.... you have started again this season. Now flogging an Atletico team that demystified Real Madrid in their first madrid derby of 25/26. Anyway, I hope Time favors Arsenal this season. Arteta has put in the work. We shall see. |

Mourinho and Benfica being spanked by Howe's Newcastle. Antonio Conte's Neapolitan Machines crumbling away at PSV. Historically, PSV always give Napoli problems. In the Osimhen Era, it was another Dutch side, AZ Alkmaar that were the bogey guys. Italian Champs in the mud. |

It was a terrible showing from the whole Olympiacos team. And Bruno although not directly involved in any of the 4 goals conceeded after his arrival on field, but Roony Bardhji did get past him easily to help set up Barca's 5th goal. Bruno was an eye sore in that passage of play. jihday: |

Bruno Onyemaechi will never be our starting LB. He belongs to the reserves of the Super Eagles. Not even the bench. Again, I laugh because Zaidu, a better LB, was undermined because of this Bruno. It is well. elyte89: |

Meanwhile, Chrisantus Uche featured for Crystal Palace U21 today in their 5-2 loss vs Stevenage in the EFL Trophy (Southern Group E). I dont like that Uche is limited to these underage games with Palace. Palace should pls let him leave on loan abeg. Uche was a sure starter in LA LIGA FOR GOODNESS SAKE. Handed the #10 shirt as well at Getafe but because they (Getafe) needed to cash in to ease their financial worries, Uche was pushed out against his original stance of not wanting to leave. Now his gametime suffers. Since Oliver Glasner doesnt rate him, then loan him! |

I read in several platforms and even here " let be praying for Osihmen to be injury free for the playoff" . I also hope he will be injury free but it caught my attention we solely rely on Osihmen. What happens if Osihmen is not available? What back up do we have ? |
