These guys are well coordinated and come in large numbers. They share themselves like 3 per compound with some outside on the street watching and giving instructions. When they attacked my friend's street they go for TVs, laptops and mostly phones and jewelry.
They then escape with bikes.

The question is how can such a large number of bikes be moving so late into the night and are not stopped by the police.

Yahoo boys are not as risky as terrorists & bandits. They are not so much of threat to human lives like terrorists & bandits. Mind u the north are the ones gradually introducing kidnapping to south. Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.

Now they are asking for patrols. Who would patrol if not these same policemen the citizens mock and even assault them in public. There may be some bad ones amongst them, but making public mockery of the police gives criminals the confidence to cause havoc.
Where is that woman who was assaulting policeman the other time? Can she also stand against this kind of criminals? People would hail her online b, but when real criminals come she will still be asking for the police to show up

The criminals who caused this should be made to face the full wrath of the law.

Oga, guess you do not live in naija. All gun licenses has been withdrawn since the first term of buhari when you had a fulani ig and when fulani people were ravaging the country, people were then defending themselves against the onslaught especially in benue. Out of the blues gun licenses was suspended and citizens told to submit their arms at the closest police facility.
Most people that have currently cannot renew not to talk of getting a fresh one. Infact once you try to renew they ask you to bring the firearm and it is confiscated.
Unless the ban has been recently lifted (which I have not heard), you cannot get a licence neither renew. Some people go as far as getting a backdated licence, but the authorities say they do not recognise it.
