LordIsaac:I hate this kind of intro. It's a signature of manipulators. Today, "let me have my way because I'm a woman". Tomorrow, "men and women are equal, gender equality". Anything done to her type is because "she's a woman", no matter how fair or just so far it doesn't align with her desire |

11doubledee:Well everything is intertwined.. She sounds belligerent and bellicose? There is a reason for that.. They put her in that path. They should deal with it; the consequences.. What has their "distinguished rules" in their "hallowed chambers" ever done for this comatose kwantiri anyways..? So I say: Natasha! Give'em HELL! |

owobokiri:Well like I said earlier your grievances has nothing to do with natasha's unruly behaviour or probably out of ignorance of the senate rules just to be fair to her. Mind you,do you realise Akpabio had to bend the rules to favour her? It was even oshiomole that objected to the circumventing of the senate rules. |

Everything is rubbish under Tinubu…The Senate is so worst that it’s always a disgrace |

owobokiri:Why are some of you, especially men, so emotional to the extent your reasoning, plus appreciation of right and wrong, is grossly compromised? Firstly, what concerns Tinubu, head of our executive arm, with an issue related to the judicial arm of governance and their affairs? Secondly, how can anyone read what is clear and self-explanatory below and still say "Free that woman and allow her do the work her constituency elected her to do" ? Is it not clear, to a reasonable person who can comprehend what is written below, she is more interested in being a lawless rebel than doing her "work"? The decision came amid concerns that unclear wording could endanger women’s lives in medical emergencies or expose doctors to possible legal risks. |

11doubledee:You are talking to someone too emotional and sentimental to ever appreciate there is a need, always, for every reasonable and law-abiding person, especially in a place of work, to respect set rules. What exactly is difficult for an educated person, even if Natasha's family member, to comprehend from what is shown below to then note Senator Akpoti-Udaughan has lost it completely and is now determined to be a problematic and vendetta-driven loose cannon no longer interested in doing her job properly? The decision came amid concerns that unclear wording could endanger women’s lives in medical emergencies or expose doctors to possible legal risks. |
They should allow this lady to do her job. It is called Nigerias Senate and NOT Akpabios Senate.. Everyone of them was elected as a Senator. They are equals. That Akpabio was made the Senate President, is not enough reason for him to be acting like a School Principal. Free that woman and allow her do the work her constituency elected her to do.. This level of ruthlessness under Akpabio and Tinubu has never been seen in Nigerias democratic history.. The Senate and this very executive are acting more tyrannical than Abacha and his Provincial Ruling Council.. Akpabio and Tinubu; Lay off this lady...
|

If this is the same Natasha that was suspended for rejecting the change of seat and resorted to blackmailing members of sexual harassment then she need to go for retraining as a lawmaker. How can she make law when she can't follow simple rules. Unnecessary attention seeker |

Chidex369:Oga, I know that there is what looks like prejudice and "pass judgement before reasoning" syndrome, prevalent in our country now, including Nairaland. However, did you care to know if Akpabio gave her the opportunity to make an input before the garvel dropped? The subject under discuss, has a lot to do with women and how many women do we have in that senate that she wouldn't be let to lend her voice? Let us be very careful the kind of culture we have embraced because of politicians that don't even care about us. |
| Re: Natasha Vs Akpabio Vs Oshiomhole: Tense Exchange In Senate (Video) by WizardOfNG: 10:05am On Oct 22, 2025 |
DB001:Indeed. Any experienced and wise man will also appreciate that there is no force more destructive and vindictive in nature, ready to cut it's nose to spite it's own face, than a woman. The matter is crystal clear. To avoid confusion over clauses viewed as controversial, with unclear wording that could endanger women’s lives in medical emergencies or expose doctors to possible legal risks, matters were referred to the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, and Legal Matters for a detailed review, with a report expected within two weeks. What on Earth does lawless Natasha want to say to add to a discussions that had ended because, for sake of gaining clarity with contentious clauses, matters has been handed over to a specialist committee on human rights and legal matters that, after two weeks of delberation, will advise the Senate how to proceed in the correct and legally approved manner? How is this even a subject of discusssion if not that some Nigerians, because of emotions and hatred of others, have lost it completely? |

Where is the sentiments coming from, please? The senate President read the rules so you know why she couldn’t tread on it and Senate Oshiomowole was clear as well. They already instituted a committee to review the clause and they were to report back on 2 weeks, she should be talking to the committee. Please, if Akpabio has allowed her to speak, it would go against the Senate rule which was what Adams Oshiomwole pointed out. If you noticed, Akpabio wanted to give her preference but Adam’s Oshiomwole called him to order. Please, being a woman doesn’t mean we are above the rules that bind an institution. And yes, I’m a woman and No! I am not an APC fan. owobokiri: |

| Re: Natasha Vs Akpabio Vs Oshiomhole: Tense Exchange In Senate (Video) by WizardOfNG: 10:12am On Oct 22, 2025 |
bionixs:Lend her voice to what? The matter was formally stepped down and handed over to a specialist committee of the house expert at human rights and legal matters to deliberate upon, over two eeeks, and then advise the Senate on a legally ratified way forward. To a reasonable person, it is clear the matter has ended for two weeks, without need for further contribution from any legislator, till the specialist committee presents it's finding and recommendations. It is after that point Natasha or any other should seek to speak. |
