Policeman Shoots The Vehicle Tire Of A Nigerian In Delta State by Danjuma04(op): 10:08am On Oct 22, 2025
A Nigerian Policeman has sparked debate after he shot the vehicle tire of a Nigerian in Delta State. This action has sparked debate among Nigerians with many questioning the legality of the act carried out by the policeman.

Many claimed that it is only in Nigeria that such things happen as it is not seen anywhere in the world. What are your thoughts?

This is over zealousness on the part of the policeman, he should be fished out and punished for misuse of firearms

But because he's a police officer you can't say it as it is and make your feelings known.... grin grin

More like, because it's mine, I can't tell the truth about it.

....and we hope for a better Nigeria lol 😂😂

Natural I don’t understand why the Nigerian police behave so aggressively and put lives at risk. The police hierarchy must take responsibility and discipline officers who act this way. Treating anyone with a gun as inherently superior to someone without one is dangerous. There should be strict, public punishments for such actions to deter others.

They need to check his head, this is madness. How could shooting the tire be the first idea that came to his mind to stop the driver? This idiot clearly don’t care about anyone’s life.

That's what envy brought.
Use the police man's one month salary to buy new tyres for the owner of the car.

Envy is why soldiers put fire on people's houses in the eastern side of the country.

The Nigerian Police Force is the most highly UNTRAINED Police Force in the world. So much unprofessionalism amongst its rank and file.
Re: Policeman Shoots The Vehicle Tire Of A Nigerian In Delta State by nairalanda1(m): 12:29pm On Oct 22, 2025
I know, I am gonna get abused

But it is very likely the guy tried to drive at high speed through a police checkpoint.

Doing that is going to attract the suspicon of any cop, especially in the night. Because at the end of the day, it's only armed robbers that try that kind of thing

There is also the risk to policemen and women's lives. A car zooming through a police checkpoint could knock down and kill a policeman

And yes in saner climes, policemen shoot at cars that try to move through police checkpoints....but also they have something called spikes that can stop a car from going too far from police

And getting our police such non lethal things means TAXES and taxing more of our gdp right now, but most Nigerians will cry oppressor...as if the people in saner climes who pay a lot in taxes do not grumble as well. cheesy

I never said tinubu is good o. I am not excusing oppression here. I am pointing out why a policeman would shoot a car tyre and what we can do to stop such things. But as they say, if you want to keep something hidden from black man, put am in writing. People will read this as an excuse for bad government, not an appeal for everyone to do better.

It is only in Nigeria you see a policeman stopping a motorist and the motorist wants to break the leg of the officer, please let's be civil when dealing with police officers because we sleep soundly because they are there
