TheSuperNerd:The obligation to buy isn't outright like you have in some case. Uche's transfer apparently includes a clause that he starts 10 games before the obligation comes into effect. There could be other clauses that we are not privy to that may also account for this. If Crystal Palace's goal is to ensure they aren't bound by that clause then his lack of game time makes sense. I am however wrestling with how probable this is as it suggests a bad business move on Gatefe's part. This article (link below) offers a different perspective to the who deal though, so there could be a whole lot going on behind the scene we aren't aware of. https://tbrfootball.com/the-truth-behind-crystal-palaces-unusual-deal-structure-in-17m-christantus-uche-signing/ |

Thank you so much My Good man. Insightful response from u as always. Hmmm.... time will tell but anything that gives Uche his gametime is what I will settle for. But the article link you share which is similar to where I saw mine suggests the deal may still go through next summer both from Palace's financial POV (cash shortage at the moment) and Getafe's POV (possibly using the expected 17M to add to their books for the next financial year to boost potential profits forecast). In any case, while the financial pros take care of the books in the light of the inevitability of the Uche permanent Transfer next summer, I really hope Glasner and the crew try give Uche the game time he needs UNLESS Ofcos, like you said... there is a clause that says they dont have to stay obliged if he doesnt start 10 games in the EPL. Omo... again time will tell but Uche has to start playing. lovewins: |

Odunayaw:Yes cos to me the 2examples are not bad goalkeeping, Cech got beaten by a near bouncing ball in his front in Chelsea vs Barca, Same with Neuer, even buffon and courtios too , Or you will called that bad goalkeeping too, I can go on and on, mentioning instance were it happened, you will called it bad go keeping right Or what will you said about that Lesotho goal in our 2-1 win, good goalkeeping ![]() |

Morocco strikes again!!! PSV's starting LB who also featured in PSV's 6-2 thrashing of Napoli last night has completed his switch of allegiance from Netherlands to Morocco. Anass Salah-Eddine is now an Atlas Lion. 23yrs LB. Damn! Morocco have been in need of a Quality LB upgrade and they just got it in addition to Utrecht's El Korauni. No more RB, Mazraoui playing as a makeshift LB too. My maroc boys no dey rest at all. Lol Well, to be fair, Nigeria also recently recruited Felix Agu.

Starboytwo:While not thanking our stars, would you have believed that SA will nick the group ticket when we were grouped with Lesotho, Rwanda, Zimbabwe? The psychology of our team demands that we even hype the opposition rather than be dismissive of them as you just did. I've noticed that when we play against minnows, we bring down our level while the minnows raise theirs. And that's the reason why teams lesser in pedigree to the SE often give us a hard time to play against. Why do you think we thrashed Benin? We did so because our backs were against the wall. I think it was Odegbami in the program I posted earlier that said Osimhen was cooked hustling on the streets and therefore challenges like that brings out the beast in him. So it has become almost a pattern that we beat teams when they are or appear to be stronger than us, and struggle against supposed minnows. |

BascoVanVeli:Senior man Basco, I am not The Law spokesman but I have been here for long to know that Sir Mujtahida is not saying that because of Okoye, He has always being a straight man and not bias with his analysis. As for targeting Nwabali - Teams now pay attention to every tiny details, teams now know a keeper is not good aerially and they target that and when you needed that goal m*dly and you know a keeper can come for you like Nwabali did vs Rwanda after a little physical contact with you or your teammate - some team player will be trying as much as possible to get in contact with you so as to get you carded especially in this era of VAR. |

Tessyy1701:This is the simple reality. Every minute detail of the game is scrutinized. Football is now scientific. Goalkeepers are given data regarding the tendencies of the penalty takers of the opposing team. Nothing is left to chance. |

There is a certain Femi Azeez at Millwall that I'm interested in. A left footed winger that is able to shoot well with his right foot. |

Basco Nwabali never had a bust up with Ekong at the AFCON o. It was Serge Aurier Stanley was threatening to fight while Ekong was telling him to cut that s**t out and calm down. Just thought to correct that notion. Not joining your argument with D'Law. Bascovanveli2: |

Bascovanveli2:There's no need to be angry. But get it out of your mind that I have an agenda. I don't. People did not complain at the Afcon because doing something one time is not enough to criticize a player. People are complaining now because we are seeing a pattern. It is in our best interest, as in all of us if Nwabali curtails his excesses |

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has been removed from the list of registered players by Italian Serie A side Lazio after his injury last month in the game against Roma. The earliest he can return is towards the end of January after undergoing surgery. A situation that has made Lazio to axe him from the list of registered players for the first half of the season. |

Atalanta youngster, Honest Ahanor, the 17-year-old left-back, who only joined Atalanta this summer from Genoa, is now valued at €20 million, a career-high mark. However, despite his Italian upbringing, he remains eligible to play only for Nigeria, as Italian law no longer grant automatic citizenship to children born in Italy to foreign parents. He can only apply for citizenship after turning 18 and proving continuous residence. For now, Ahanor’s international future lies firmly in Nigerian hands. |

Mujtahida:Which one is one time. If the behaviour was that bad it should have been brought up. I have seen Donnarumma fight and opponent because he chipped him to score a goal. Hugo Lloris fought Son of all people and Mourinho supported him. Even Williams the South Africa goalie got into a shouting match with a teammate at halftime of the Remo match. There is nothing that Nwabali has done that other goalkeepers don't do. Goalkeepers are supposed to be different type of people. There is a saying that goes "you have to be crazy to be a goalkeeper". |

Oliseh is one player who came before his time. He's not given enough plaudits. Man sits in front of the back four and destroys opposition attacks and orchestrates our attacks. He's a marvel of a player. When Oliseh was in Italy, I read that his coach said that Oliseh never kicks the ball even under pressure. I see now that that is what is called press resistant. In Benjamin Frederick, I see some of Oliseh's qualities. Although Frederick is a defender. His slaloming run through the midfield in the game against Benin was impressive. That run led to the third goal. |
