If he scores his Hat-Trick early we could be looking at a 4, 5 goal game

I tire o, they keep making noise as if they got to the World Cup final. I wonder what we will expect of the Moroccan players that go to the semi finals to be saying when they are retired like our 94 eagles. I agree with you jare their Cho Cho Cho is becoming too much and boring.

Victor Osimhen's strike on 2mins 53secs is the 3rd fastest goal in the 2025/26 UCL so far.

Fastest is Qarabag's Leandro Andrade today vs Athletic Bilbao on 48 seconds.

2nd fastest is Marquinhos for PSG at 2mins 13 secs vs Atalanta.

It would have been sweeter goal after collecting the ball from two defenders same time

No Striker on planet earth leads a press like Osimhen does. Absolutely none. Not Haaland, Not Kane, Not Mbappe. None.

Victor Osimhen is the World's Most Ultimate Pressing Machine. Damn!

Osimhen needs to be subbed. Looks like he is tired

Osigoal!

He still needs to work on his offside awareness and finishing. He could have had 5 to 6 goals today to be honest.

At minimum he should have 3 goals today. He’s actually missed a number of good chances

Very good outing still but I want him to be more clinical and watch for offsides.

Injury has slowed him down, what a pity

Yes, but his finishing at times can be erratic.

5 big chances missed today. 9 shots, 7 on target, 2 goals. He really should have bagged at least 4 goals let’s be honest.

True but with that knock in the first half I’ll give him a benefit of a doubt. If you look at those chances he missed in the second half a vintage victor will convert that but he looks heavier in carrying his legs or even his speed!

As victor is subbed Bodo puts one back perhaps the coach was too much in haste in making that change. Should have left VO till the 80th minute cos even with his injury he was a menace to that defence and snuffed life out of them

I have been an Osi fan since his early Napoli days. I give him praise where due but also call out where he can improve. Offside awareness is one of them and more consistent finishing. Check my post history.

A chance to watch David Moses in midfield against much tougher opposition today. Been following his progress in the Czech Liga.

Yep, that's him below.

Lovewins, pls little help here. Uche's deal to Palace has an obligation to buy. Does this mean Palace must still pay the 17M even if they bench him all season? This Uche gametime lack bothers me so much.
my guess is they can return if they do not want but they’ll have to pay a fraction of the transfer fee, maybe like 5mill

Atalanta youngster, Honest Ahanor, the 17-year-old left-back, who only joined Atalanta this summer from Genoa, is now valued at €20 million, a career-high mark.
However, despite his Italian upbringing, he remains eligible to play only for Nigeria, as Italian law no longer grant automatic citizenship to children born in Italy to foreign parents. He can only apply for citizenship after turning 18 and proving continuous residence. For now, Ahanor’s international future lies firmly in Nigerian hands.
if it was Morocco they would have invited this guy for that U-20 World Cup

Aina is our biggest absentee from the Playoffs and AFCON. I hope Bright Osayi really steps up his game.

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro can replace FDB.

Agu making the AFCON team roster was debatable. We'll make do with Zaidu and Bruno.
Zaidu’s fitness is questionable, our depth in defense is really poor, we need to start rebuilding our squad

The way you oldies praise this 1994 set is tiring, I've been on Nairaland going for fifteen years now every time I come online before I read ten comments I must read something related to the 1994 set you guys have besieged these sports sections just like they have besieged the glass house that any coach the NFF hires if he doesn't play like the 1994 set or handle issues like they time they criticism him.

Apart from Stephen Keshi and to a long extent Samson sia sia what has the 1994 set contributed to our football is it Okocha that almost ruin delta state football or Sunday oliseh that almost destroy the super Eagles, or let's talk about ikpeba that is destroying Nigerian youth with his bet9ja nonsense, I don't even want to mention that one that almost ruin our world cup hope.

What did they achieve which have not been done, they won the Nations Cup and reached the knockout stage didn't the 2013 set equal the record what is so special about them that we will not hear a word?
No vex sir but what’s the relationship between what he said and this thing you just typed
