I don't believe genes make a race more intelligent. The environment, mentoring,ambition ,,,role models, and culture can contribute to specific groups of people being smarter than others though.
Wisdom iand intelligence is somewhat hereditary but a lot of factors come into play before it's apparent..
The education system is a major player. I like the IGCSE a lot.

Both you of agreed that some level of natural endowment is involved. The key thing is application and how much resources and dedication you put towards it though some might need 4hrs to understand what others will get in 30mins

Exactly the point I am making. People in the same environment, learning the same thing. It takes one 30 seconds to get it and expand further on it with his own critical thinking while it took the other hours with no expansion at all.

I won't rule out DNA also. I think there are good genes and bad genes.
Good genes get extra sharpened by many factors like the ones I mentioned . I should have added discipline.
