Lolz.. The Southey hate us so much. They can't even hide it anymore grin

Osimhen was the lifewire of Gala in this match.. but Supersport, somehow, finds JOY using Sanè in the highlights thumbnail.

When you're Big you're Big cool

Lol. FIFA placing it there means they acknowledge the "good works" done by the NFF. Are you not aware FIFA is synonymous with Corruption as well?

Just, save your hopes for the Super Eagles' playoffs quest. Not this NFF issue.
Hmmm. Issorite. More grease to the hairless heads of Infantino and Pinnick.

This wouldn't bring any change, at least not the way most assume. The only way the NFF changes is by good people getting into the mess and changing it from the inside out. And the only way good people can get in is to change the voting composition of the NFF to wrest power from the cabal cause right now only 46 members vote for the NFF board and at least 37 of them are politicians. The goal is to dilute their voting power by increasing the number of delegates allowed to vote to at least 100. (The composition of the extra delegate makeup is another conversation all together). This is the only way to effect change. But it's naive to think someone is coming to save our football, nobody is.
Please what do you mean by good people? Do mean people who will not 'chop' or people who will chop and still work?

Because - make una no vex - I don't believe that good people as people who are incorruptible exist in naija oo. They might exist when outside government but once inside, na choppings oo. So goodness will be a matter of degree of the choppings.

Because - make una no vex - I don't believe that good people as people who are incorruptible exist in naija oo. They might exist when outside government but once inside, na choppings oo. So goodness will be a matter of degree of the choppings.
First, good people exist in government, maybe not in the majority but they do exist. That's however wasn't my focus. I personally believe government should largely divest from sports in Nigeria as I believe it's the only way we'll see any meaningful progress. I have spoken about this before in details and will probably do more in future should it be necessary.

By good I mean people with a stake in the football ecosystem in Nigeria. If I were to suggest, I'll probably give votes to sponsors, increase the vote of media, referees association and players association. Our current model adopts State chairman as statutory members currently, I'll lobby owners of private clubs in the NPFL to get votes too. You can give every living Super Eagles and Super Falcons captain a vote. These are just examples of how we can fill up the voting block with persons who have a stake in seeing football in Nigeria succeed and not just politicians who are waiting for the next FIFA grant and FG largesse to share.

Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey start for Fulham away at Newcastle in the EPL.

Chukwueze still out injured with a calf injury picked up in the first half vs Benin. Main reason he had to be subbed at HT for Olakunle Olusegun.

There are fears he may miss the playoffs as well. Time will tell.

With Samu's absence vs Arsenal and now Newcastle, it is obvious his calf injury is more serious than feared and his comeback time is potentially late november.

With Lookman back, I hope Chelle is not gonna move Simon to the RW. That would be atrocious. Move Iwobi to the right and let him cook. Put someone else, someone tactically valid in the middle.

Chuks' injury is coming at a really bad time. Just when he is connecting with Osimhen again onfield. Arrgggghh

Meanwhile that was really careless from Bassey. His third error leading to a shot on goal from the opponent this 25/26 season. He got lucky the first 2 times but isnt 3rd time lucky coz Murphy scores.

Is a storm brewing? 👀

Honestly I hope so, if it means we're going to rejig the entire football association.
Lol, It has nothing to do with NFF. From the perspective of a regular European, that picture is a pretty depiction of FIFA's rural outreach projects. FIFA is likely very proud of that image FYI. The way you guys see things is very different from how Europeans do.

Btw, 1.2 million actually within budget for that pitch, if it's an actual FIFA standard synthetic pitch and not some substandard crap. Google the price of professional synthetic pitches.

Yes oo and that's a good criteria. He said that they have a data base of at least 500 Nigerian players. That tells us that most of the players we talk about here are known to the coaching crew.

It was an insightful exchange. Loved where he said he wants our players to have a warrior state of mind.

Maduka Okoye concedes again with the last kick of the game. Udinese 3-2 Lecce.

3pts gained. No Cleansheet. Still seeking his first cleansheet since his return from the ban.

He even said he’s ready to get on the pitch himself if possible to slap any anybody that touches his players, Chelle no Dey play o! I say make I warn Una 😂

I actually admire the way he stands by his players!
