MetalJigsaw:He has always been a tactician. He interprets the coach's ideas very well, and reads his opponents well. We currently do not have direct replacements, but players with complementary roles. |

TheSuperNerd:I am curious tho, why won't the NFF just hire you? I mean here you are doing for hobby something they are being paid for. They might as well just be paying for your services i.e through salary as a staff. If they don't, please try to monetise this hobby of yours on social media - Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. If you don't, me I will o. Better get started |

He pass am yet Raphael has a Super Eagles goal before Ndidi. Raph made his Super Eagles debut in 2022. Ndidi has been with the SEs since 2015. 68 NT appearances, no single goal. Ndidi pass am yet Ndidi cant comfortably link defence and attack. Raph is a better 1st phase midfielder than Ndidi. Ndidi cant manipulate the momentum, angles , flow or tempo of first phase buildups better than Onyedika simply because Ndidi is not a better user of the ball compared to Onyedika. Even in the 2nd phase Onye still tops Ndidi. Ndidi pass am yet his ball striking is poor compared to Onyedika when it comes to arriving near the box. Against Benin, we saw how Ndidi folded when he had the chance to shoot at goal. This same Benin was the team Onyedika opened his SE account against. We all agree that the Goal Onyeka scored to get us into the Playoffs will most likely be fluffed by Ndidi. And we know why. Ndidi pass am yet he cant lines break consistently with vertical deep passes like Onyedika does. Look, I judge with what my eyes see and Ndidi's technical limitations is still obvious. That he plays more often than any other midfielder under Chelle does not mean he is the best. It is just Chelle's preference. Finito. kentebemoney: |

I'm of the opinion that we approach Kayode of Brentford. If he turns us down, he turns us down. We have no deputy for Aina. Osayi is a big down grade. |

I don't think I know. I know, I know. Michael Kayode was mentioned here by me in 2022, when did your uncles at the NFF tech dept get to know him? I am sure they are just spotting him now thanks to EPL football's visibility. We are not actively digging enough into data of Naija lads outside the country that have the potential to uplift our Senior NT. Even Naija kids across all academies in England. U18s, U16s, I have notifications for them but I dont bring it to the thread because I dont want to derail too much away from Super Eagles discussions by constantly discussing underage football of Foreign born Nigerians. So I select when or how I communicate the info. So again, it is not a thinking. It is a doing. Since SL10.ng, and now NL, it has been a thing. Data/info & me are married. kentebemoney: |

TheSuperNerd:Oliseh that we rate as the best ever CDM to play for Nigeria how many goals did he score for the team during his time? Judging by goals then it also means that Onyeka is better than Ndidi too Ndidi may have not been magnificent in the colors of the national team but he still tops Onyeka and Onyedika in the CDM role The same Belgian league onyedika is finding difficult to get out from Ndidi conquered it in his second season in Europe which earned him a big move to the epl, held his own in England and at some point was rated among the best CDM in the world during for over 2-3 seasons before injuries slowed him down |

kentebemoney:The same Belgian league Ndidi conquered in his second season in European top flight football and attracted a big money move to the EPL |

Which other Nigerian CDM outscored Oliseh in same era? Oya talk. Oliseh was the best and still scored some goals in Eagles colors. Ndidi has not gotten one in 10 years of national team football, especially seeing the bangers he hit back in Belgium and his early years in England and you expect me not to be worried about that metric?? Okay, before Injuries hit Ndidi, 2016-2017 Ndidi was still scoring bangers, why didnt he hit them in the NT? So no excuses please. Ndidi tops Onyeka in the CDM role yet when he started in 2021 Afcon as the main man in the role, Nigeria lost out in the round of 16. Even under Rohr at Afcon 2019, Ndidi had Etebo but their double pivot could not take us into the final. Onyeka under Peseiro at Afcon 2023 (in 2024) played the main defensive midfield role like a lion and Nigeria reached an Afcon final for the first time since 2013. If Ndidi had been at the Afcon under Peseiro and started, I doubt we would have made it. Ndidi does not have Onyeka's never quenching Workhorse energy and he does not have Onyedika's top notch Ball playing. charlesemeka85: |

Big money move to who? Small Leicester that went from surprise EPL winners back to mid table and then relegation candidates. Ndidi never moved up from Leicester and I am sure you know why because even your Man Utd showed interest but didnt follow through with a concrete bid. Ndidi's technical limitation was obvious and I feel ashamed ever mentioning him and Partey back then in same sentence. Partey at Arsenal was miles ahead and still miles ahead today. charlesemeka85: |

TheSuperNerd:Bro Leicester is small but then they were on a high momentum after winning the epl a season or 2 before ndidi and musa joined them Then for an unknown talent fresh in top European football Leicester coughed out around 16m to get him |

TheSuperNerd:Onyedika don see common Crystal Palace sign for ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 All we hear always about him is just rumour During Peseiro’s time he preferred Onyeka and now Chelle prefers Ndidi which implies that something we haven’t noticed yet as mere fans is missing in Onyedika’s game |

TheSuperNerd:Ndidi have been unfortunate with scoring chances in the colors of the national team but that haven’t stopped him from carrying out his primary responsibility perfectly which is screening the back four You guys are the one who wants him to play like Busquet or Carrick but dude isn’t and will never be that kinda player. Ndidi is a natural destroyer with decent ball playing ability and will always be |

AC Milan put in a bid for Onyedika last summer I believe or you missed it? I think even you sef report am. But they backed out when Club Brugges insisted on a higher valuation. Milan wanted to get Onye at a lower price for a young MF. But Man Utd never put in a bid for Ndidi. It was all talk and inquiries. Ur own Man Utd run and didnt bother with a proper bid. Also, You said Ndidi conquered Belgium. Pls how? because I dont see any titles Ndidi won there unlike Onyedika who is a Belgian League, Cup and SuperCup Champion. charlesemeka85: |

TheSuperNerd:Don't stress yourself. Chelle already said Ndidi understands the 442 diamond formation and he is not ready to change him until after we qualifier. If you read in-between the line, he is waiting to test other players better than Ndidi after playoffs. Ndidi na makeshift for now in his eyes. |

TheSuperNerd:if Milan were serious about Onyedika they would go all out to complete the transfer instead they preferred his team mate Ardon Jashari and I think paid even more than Brugge were asking for onyedika to bring the Swiss midfielder to Milan Milan wants him but doesn’t value him as much as Brugge think of him Also epl mid table clubs like Westham,Everton and palace all showed interest but refused paying what Brugge were asking for because they believe he doesn’t worth up to that Ndidi conquering Belgium as a fresh kid straight from African doesn’t mean winning trophies but with good performances. The first season he signed for Genk he made the leap immediately to their first team and showed good performances, second season he continued with his fine form which caught the eyes of clubs outside Belgium to take notice of him before Leicester got him as Kante’s replacement |

17million pounds actually. Agreed in December 2016 and he joined in January 2017. Half a season after Leicester won the EPL title in 2015/16. Had high hopes then, but Ndidi hit his peak performance in the 2020/21 season and just stagnated from there. Leicester being the small club lost all their main star players except Jamie Vardy so they had to recruit and got Ndidi. Their small club status showed eventually as they could not sustain their EPL status and went down to the Championship twice in their Ndidi era. The 2nd was last season, 24/25. charlesemeka85: |

Exactly. Same way EPL Clubs believe Osimhen was not worth taking a risk on abi. So you see. Not Onyedika's fault. charlesemeka85: |

charlesemeka85:This is my exact argument about this onyedika guy we fans are not cin …no worry ,dem go soon use am …2 foreign coaches can’t be wrong na ,same way we taught Bruno was better Dan zaidu ..if onyedika is dt good Dan ndidi ,den he shldnt be chopping bench under 2diff foreign coaches who has worked closer with these two players In trainings. |

TheSuperNerd:I never argued that Leicester isn’t a small club but said that they were on a high momentum after winning the epl a season before ndidi joined. For a kid who have just spent only 2 seasons playing in Europe top flight league that was a big move for him |
