Gabon and DRC are the strongest teams in the playoffs based on the performances and results during qualification.
The SE have pedigree and momentum which counts during tournaments. It will be an interesting game but definitely not a walk over.
I’m just not happy CAF didn’t space the games
Just 2 days instead of 3
For games with such magnitude
Players could end up fighting
CAF & FIFA don’t even care about the players health
Smh

The way people here and on Twitter are downplaying Gabon is crazy. They're actually the deadliest team en route to our spot in the World Cup. Don't be fooled by the game against Benin. We still had plenty of defensive lapses in that game. We gave Benin lots of spaces. Benin were just not clinical and that's why they didn't punish us severely.

Gabon is the game that will make or break the Eagles in the playoffs. If we beat them, we are very likely going to the World Cup.
DR CONGO is the strongest team not Gabon on the basis of strength of opposition met in the group stage. Gabon met Gambia, Burundi,Kenya and Seychelles(all of which have little to zero AFCON/CHAN pedigree) apart from Ivory Coast whereas DR CONGO met Sudan, Togo, Mauritania and South Sudan(The first three of whom have above little AFCON/CHAN pedigree) apart from Senegal . My opinion.

Jaoa Pedro is a baller o
But seriously, when did this happen
Pedro throwing up on the pitch shocked
João Pedro is a baller I know, but he hasn't registered a shot on target in his last 7 games, not to talk of a goal. That one no concern me sha 😂

During the international break before the last one, him and Gabriel Martinelli jam each other, he vomit wetin no good 😂

All these players playing for Eastern Europe no dey move me. You remember Igho ogbu wey dem over hype for here. Shame no let the same people mention e name now in search for backup defenders. I no get anything against David Moses, Goldfish no dey hide, if e good he will move to a better club.
Ogbu good o, na injury make him name silent here o, no be any shame. Did you watch him at the Unity Cup?

The guy solid.

i have been seeing the kenyan example and i chuckle everytime. How can someone believe that monumental stadium was constructed with 1.2 million dollars. Stadium wey dem use 300 million+ to build.
A lot of Nigerians need to do better with their reasoning.

1.2 million is a reasonable price IF (emphasis on if) the kebbi pitch was done with standard materials and not Alibaba grass. If there were kickbacks, it would be around 200k - 300k.

Did you watch the Club World Cup
Stand out player
I am surprised this was recently, like this incident happened this season lol
Besides give Chelsea players a break, those guys basically didn’t have enough summer holiday
They pushed or overstretched themselves to win that final against PSG, on another day PAG would win
I support another London club though

Gabon is not a team to underate at all... They are very clinical in front of goal and they parade one of the best winger in Africa football currently, who has been nominated for CAF African player of the year. We need to respect them and grind out a win any how and by any means possible.

The Super Eagles may not be Africa's #1 on the rankings today but globally, they remain the biggest and most popular NT on the continent. Coaching Nigeria is arguably the biggest NT job in Africa.

Even you follow dey queue. Start from Sao Tome, Mbanu, u no want.

💯true. Made possible by consistent World Cup appearances and also age grade silverware. Omo It’s so unfortunate that these things are now difficult.

Although Morocco is already positioning itself as Africa’s biggest brand, the black factor doesn’t favor them.

The forthcoming games are die hard games and must win no matter the scoreline and manners of winning.

It will be a fierce jam body affair, if the boys embodies that zeal of playing in the world cup, I see no team stopping them.

my eye test pass that your over and over an over o. Uche got the attributes to help us take control of that midfield

Uche Christanthus should not be starting ahead of Ndidi, Alhassan or Onyeka until we see him play that role over and over.

Adarabioyo has come home already. he is just too shy. He just needs to say he is available for the AFCON. That is the price he needs to pay for us to forgive him, since by the time, qualification for WC is not certain (maybe yet). if it's certain already, then there will be no need for him.

As at today, any SE starting 11 without Fredrick will not fly. Him, Osimhen and Bassey are the few players that plays with their hearts for the SE
