President Bola Tinubu had last week, sacked the service chiefs he appointed over two years ago, following a rumoured coup which the Defence Headquarters has long denied.

Tinubu appointed the Chief of Army Staff, Gen Oluyede as the new Chief of Defence Staff; Gen Waidi Shaibu as the new Chief of Army Staff; Air Vice Marshal Sunday Aneke as Chief of Air Staff and Rear Admiral Idi Abbas as the new Chief of Naval Staff.

This is the President's first formal engagement with the new military leadership since their appointment.

I don't think they can stop insecurities, its beyond them. Let govt tackle unemployment and stop money na water people that are driving young ones into crimes.

Nobody is looking this direction.... I actually support Tinubu low key outside IPOB. This man got balls. I wish him success till 2031 instead any Fulani man will take over
