Founder and General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has described Governor Alex Otti of Abia State as a “Messiah sent by God” to liberate the state from years of stagnation and misgovernance, ABN TV reports.

In a statement posted on his official Facebook handle, Apostle Chibuzor expressed strong support for the Governor’s efforts to attract investors and transform Abia’s economy, insisting that such actions go beyond politics and are divinely inspired.

He wrote: “Bringing investors to my state is not politics. It’s the work of GOD, because it will involve the lives of Abians. So close your mouth.”

The cleric, who hails from Abia State, emphasized that his involvement in encouraging investment and development in the state stems from divine calling, not political ambition.

“Screenshot this message. Any day I join politics, I know that GOD has left me. MY CALLING IS MAN OF GOD, NOT POLITICIAN,” he declared.

Apostle Chibuzor, known for his humanitarian initiatives and youth empowerment programs across Nigeria, said his passion for Abia’s progress aligns with his spiritual duty to see the people of the state prosper.

The televangelist’s remarks come amid growing public admiration for Governor Otti’s reform-driven administration, which has focused on infrastructure renewal, economic revitalization, and restoring public trust in governance.

Messiah literally means a saviour or a deliverer, someone who delivers the oppressed from the hands of the oppressor
