Just saw the own goal Ekong scored against his club, and it's exactly the same as the own goal he scored in the SA game.

🔸No pressure situation
🔸Ball would have been better cleared with his left leg but used his right, and miss-kicked it into his goal.

Lots of right-footed players are ambipedal to some extent, and use their left feet quite well but Ekong is terribly poor with his left foot for a professional footballer.

If the ball falls to his left foot in front of his goal. the chances he'll score an own goal is 50-50.

This own goal thing has bedevilled his career for the longest time, and I'm surprised he hasn't outgrown it, and at this point believe he never will.

I pray and hope Eric Chelle doesn't make the mistake of featuring him in our playoff games.

One could never be a full football fan with these papers. They'll insert Roland Garros, Wimbledon, Open here and there and the pics of our fave, Roger Federer and Serena. Lol. Now Tennis has fallen off.

Just finished watching Akinsanmiro stop a 2 v 1 situation on the Pisa Right Flank (Lazio's left), won the duel and came away with the ball.

He played only 25mins+ off the bench but won the most tackles in the game (3).
He shows his quality yet again.

Yet someone will come and say Akinsanmiro is weak and not strong enough or fast. Fallacious takes.
He and Eletu should be sniffing call ups alongside Kayode. Infact I'll prefer the trio than any for Tosin right now.

The world cup qualifiers might actually make us win the nations Cup. This is because it will sharpen us as a team. We will now go into the nations cup with a mini tournament behind us. If we make it through the world cup qualifiers our confidence will be sky high. We will then be a different animal in the nations cup.
Provided NFF doesn't kill it eith off pitch drama and mediocrity

As Ndidi no fit control midfield again, make we just recall Onazi. If Chuks won't be available, Emenike should be drafted in.
Are we forgetting Vincent Enyeama? I know he has no club right now but his cat like instincts will still be valuable

Those guys were so so good at reporting. If they all had social media presence then, they'll be doing way way better than the current ones. Paul Bassey too that year. Watching Aisha Falode for sports news at night as well. AIT crew as well.

That Chief ehn..... Chai. Times of chest pain as a boy reading this man's delulu talks. We pray for more better days abeg. Lol.

Someone needs to do some program to honor these sports reporter giants. They deserve top recognition and appreciation for making the path this sweet and memorable.

Tennis 🎾 has not falling off, rather I think you are the one that has lost interest in it.
Alcarez and Sinner are the young guns ruling the world of Tennis today and I can beat my chest and say these 2 would have done same thing during the time of Federar, Nadal, Djokovic, Murray, Juan Martin Del Potro, etc

that's not her ooo. She was Chairperson of the NWFL two years ago. After mentioning her yesterday, I googled her and found that she's been active in the sports ecosystem. I used to like her then for her coarse voice and her knowledge of football.

So shall it be. Aina is a huge miss!!! I just hope Chelle has enough MFs for the system he plays, just in case of burnout. Also am not sure Zaidu is fit enough for two straight games in the little time we have left. After all said and done, every spot on the team is crucial, we need a solid bench. No passengers needed now.
