We've had a discussion on generic vs original drugs. The pro generic was that you don't build resistance with continued use,and can always switch to a more potent dose. As opposed to bring resistant to original drugs. At some point , one's body only responds to the original strong doses.
I don't mind taking generics.
I frequently travel to malaria prone areas, I don't usually take preventive like I see a lot of people do. I know malaria,I've had mild case twice it thrice ,I just listen to myself for a few days .
In the west ,advertising prescription drugs is a little way too much. I imagine telling a doctor I want this particular drug after being swayed by TV adverts. Media will not die without pharma ads.
Another practice is where employees of federal agencies like CDC or FDA who approve big pharma drugs end up working for pharmaceutical companies.That revolving door in my opinion is not healthy.

When Jakande introduced free education in Lagos, he literally took the education one person was eating and divided it into food for 3 other people who had not been getting any education.

That one person who had a whole plate of education to themself was not happy, but the starving 3 who now got some education were delighted.

If he was threatening to attack boko haram or iswap in Nigeria I might delight, though I wouldn't really because he'd just screw it up. But we both know he's pitting this as Muslims against Christians, or at least small mindeds like you will term it that way even though more Muslims are being killed by boko haram and Iswap than Christians.
