Majority of Muslims want to just live their lives peacefully. The radical ones are the ones who join Boko Haram. The problem I have with the majority is that they don't speak out when the radical ones go on jihadi sprees.And when a non Muslim criticizes the radical ones,the majority always side with their radicals. For example majority Muslims support Hamas. The majority too in private agree with the radical agenda. In public they disassociate with the radical.

You failed with that last sentence, but I guess I need to point it out to you as a lesson in grammar.

With your "For example majority Muslims support Hamas", you are implying that the majority of Muslims support boko haram, which you know is not true as you've stated with your, "Majority of Muslims want to just live their lives peacefully".

I put it to you that majority Palestinians want to just live their lives peacefully too. Unfortunately, land grabbing Israelis are not letting them, and joining Hamas is their only way to fight back. It's not similar to what's happening in Nigeria. Our Hamas is not fighting the Nigerian government. It's killing Nigerian citizens regardless of religion.

Now. If you are a Muslim in the North where you know the Nigerian government will not protect you, will you openly condemn boko haram?

There are more Muslims in Northern Nigeria so it checks out but it however doesn't negate the fact that there's a deliberate attempt to kill Christians in the North. We shouldn't have to politicize this thing. Targeting Christian dominated areas in the Middle Belt and government body language is substantial in believing that Christians are being targeted.

I hate what Orange head is doing but let's be honest with ourselves.

Nigeria’s problem is so uniquely Nigerian that even the simplest solution is going to be complicated in practice. Tinubu so far hasn’t made any concerted efforts to curb the insecurity and neither did Buhari. Do we really think they’ll collaborate sincerely with the US to lead them into the areas with the biggest insecurity problems?

We’ve heard of sambisa forest being the main hideout of terrorists up north, yet they won’t put in heavy presence of manpower to deter them. Instead the terrorists are there, taking over whole communities unchecked. But in the east, there is a police or military check point every 100 yards (saw this with my own eyes few months ago). I won’t rule out a collaboration where they try to weaponize the foreign govt into traumatizing the regions they don’t like.
