Esther Okoronkwo with another assist as her team wins the 1st leg of their playoff match up. This one was a little ugly grin

We don't talk enough about Osimhen's aerial ball control. He's really good at controlling the aerial balls with his head and especially his chest.

We are not milking this beast of an attacker that we have. We should be floating in crosses to this guy mehn.
What do we do in our games besides floating in crosses? Lol. That's literally our entire game strategy. The issue is that we suck at actually making those crosses.

we always try to oh, just that most of the crosses are useless (too intense or too short), usual culprit is uncle Moses Simon.
While Uncle moses doesn't get his crosses right, mr lookman cr7 is selfish.

I believe he has it, but has not explored that aspect of his game.
He scored a few goals with intense shot that banged the net in Napoli, although he took those shots in the box, it would be nice seeing him score from outside the box with powerful shots.
Osimhen cannot have everything. He did not built his game on shots and reason why he is flourishing .... Osimhen is a type of striker that uses pressing to finish any defenders and always working hard on the field of play, fact his pressing game is crazy

If these players are useless as you guys have been describing them do you think Osimhen would've been on 29 goals with 43 caps....even Osimhen will not agreeing with the way we are bashing his team mates, get it NFF put us in this tight situation, sincerely I will not blame the players if we eventually failed to qualify, but I hope eagles makes it

....they are not Finidi George, better for us to accept it,after Finidi can you tell me any good crosser for eagles...even Amuneke was not comfortable with crossing, some of Yekini goals came from Oliseh and Finidi....I just hope Chuckwueze raises his games during playoffs

we kinda do. Apart from our all ball to osimhen strategy, we try to utilise the cross method when we can. A good example was the afcon semi final against south africa. We were loading the ball to his head every opportunity we get and he was not converting it that well. I think they were about 3 headers he failed to utilise in that match.

I'm glad we would be having the almighty VAR in the world cup qualifiers.

No panic for that as it would favour us like it did for our girls in the WAFCON finals.

We are most likely to get a penalty from VAR with Osimhen in the game

Osimhen that was missing chances like water at AFON. However, I understood that Osimhen was not that fit before AFCON. If I could remember, he didn't touch the ball for like a month before AFCON. The reason I did not blame him much. Also, he put in a lot of running and was largely responsible for our progress despite the missed chances!

Added to why Napoli was having strained relationships with him. They probably thought he would skip AFCON to be fully fit for them and by the time he got back from CIV he was almost completely drained physically and mentally.

Do we say same things applied to Lookman cuz am seeing some folks criticizing him, forgetting this is a player that went through transfer brouhaha

For me personally I've not been overly critical of Lookman because of the transfer issue that said we can't wait for him to get his mojo back at the expense of the SE success.

He will come good I'm sure but how long that will take I can't say so for now pending when he gets back to form the coach shouldn't allow paper reputations or bias to cloud his judgment on the best group of players to deliver this qualification ticket.

You need to watch the AFCON again. I can mention 4 against Guinea Bissau and 2 against the Ivorians off hand!

You're right he could easily have been on 4-5 goals from the group stage games.

That said I think he was unlucky in the knockout stages where VAR or offside goals check off some good goals against Angola and SA.

recall that Osimhen scored goals that were disallowed by referees. He was extremely pivotal and his selflessness let lookman take the shine . No Osimhen no Nigeria. Honestly I think lookman should start from bench against Gabon never change a winning formula .

Asides the first game where he could have stat padded, the reasons he didn't have more goals is VAR

Mujtahida:
BankyGee, shey you know that Osimhen does not really know how to play penalties? Sure, he scores but I'm not convinced that he really is a good penalty taker.

Then unlike Rashidi, he doesn't play shots. But he's got more than enough of other skill set to make up for that. For instance, he's deadly in the air. Very deadly.

Again, he presses. No, he doesn't press. He hunts like a predator.
I don't agree with this. But every other thing you said is on point. I think we've argued this a while back.

If you score your penalties, then why will you be a "bad" penalty taker? Osimhen has not missed one penalty since he joined Galatasaray, he even scored against Alison whom he missed against while at Napoli, so I no believe this one.

9 penalties taken for Galatasaray so far, 9 scored.
