Please I need guide on this.

A woman wants to travel to UK to write an exam. She wants to travel together with 2 kids who are under 7 years of age and her husband .
So will there be 4 different visa applications for this?

For reason of traveling, what's the best option to put?

Thank you

The Movement looks very suspicious ,how will the whole family travel because one person have an Exam to write in the UK ,other options is for them all to apply for family vacation

Not a visa expert but just reason it this way- you’d like to employ a new staff and the person says to you I’d like to come for my interview with my spouse and kids. What would your reaction to the person be? You’d most likely be ticked off by that.
If the exam is very important why not go alone and when you come back you can then now apply as a family for a family holiday.

A fruends sisters visa was refused, friends wants the decision to be reviewed,

Whats the process for administrative review?

Or is their an email to complain?
I just want to share it with her. Friend is a uk citizen and sister was refused the 3rd time. They had addressed items in previous reviews and the sister does have travel history.

An applicant got this message attached in her refusal letter. However, SHE CLEARLY STATED THE REFUSAL in the application, and even provided additional information on reasons for the refusal.

Please how can she go about addressing this issue, to prevent it being on record that she mis-represented. She has no intention of re-applying in the short run, but she needs to clear this discrepancy.

please help.

I think this is where you can ask for an administrative review but she should make sure she double checks her form, hopefully she still has a copy of that. Sometimes human error comes to play

Kindly help with insight @giselle237 and Cashmadam.

I applied for visit visa, ECO singled out my employers account balance and erroneously claim it was low by assuming the account was a Naira account, when it was clearly stated on face of the statement that the account is domiciled in USD(this was stated in my LOE). My own balance is actually more than 1k USD, i only added employer’s account as this is a work sponsored trip.

My immigration history, i just returned from the US last month and going back next month, facts which were submitted, I have 10yr canadian visa, i have sent email to home office, but my concern is the generic email response i got from UKVI for the paid mail, but i really want to correct this error as this is my second refusal, i had first refusal last year b4 US, Canada and Schengen Visa. So i am not about to just let this slide, i want to understand the PAP process please.
After coming across this post by @readonenaire I also decided to get your opinion @giselle237 @Cashmadam I too think the ECO didn’t consider my situation correctly.
They stated what my sister is contributing as me relying on financial support because my financial circumstances in Nigeria can’t make me afford the trip but that is erroneous as I submitted a balance of 15M with consistent salary entries of 2.150M per month(I’m a senior software engineer in Nigeria). My sister supporting is because I will be staying at her house and she will most likely feed me, so the significant expense to me is just the flight fee.

They also stated that I declared I had no dependent which is wrong because I filled in the form( attached) that my aged widowed mother lives with me and I’m responsible for her well-being( even submitted an affidavit)

Like @readonenaire I’m also not looking to overturn I just want them to acknowledge this, because they also erroneously denied me in 2021 and I let it slide since the letter said I had no right to appeal, please do you think I have grounds to complain at least? My intention was to use my 3 weeks leave to visit and return I’m very much okay with my present job.

The Form has been double checked and triple checked. It was clearly stated. In fact, additional information was even given as per reasons for refusal. How can they now say it was not declared?

Please, what is the process for administrative review? Or the process for how this can be handled? Anyone help please

Sorry about the refusal. The only mistake I think you made was to use your sister as a sponsor. You can afford the trip and your sister should not be stated as a sponsor - although she will provide accommodation.

You can either reapply or send an email to challenge their decision.

Good luck!

Sorry about the refusal.

God is with you. A grave error on their part.

Please proceed with the admin review. I'm not conversant with the process. Perhaps others can help.

Good luck!

Thank you very much I will try sending an email. I only even stated she will be paying part not the full amount , but somehow the ECO interpreted it as me being reliant on that, it is well.

Good afternoon, everyone.

As a pastor who also owns a business, I receive a regular monthly income from my business, as well as monthly income from church.
In addition, I always receive cash gifts and honoraria from individuals or during ministrations; however, these are voluntary and irregular.

All these funds are paid into the same bank account. Please, how should I present this financial arrangement in my visa application to ensure it is clear and properly documented?

Did you mention in the form that your sister would provide financial support in the amount of £1,500? If so, that is likely the issue, because the Visa Officer (VO) may see it as if you are not capable of sponsoring yourself. You should have only indicated that she is providing accommodation, since you will be staying at her place for the duration of your visit.
If you did not mention the financial support in the form, then you may need to appeal the decision.
I usually advise people: if you can afford your trip, sponsor yourself. You can mention that you have a family member there, but book hotel accommodation. That way, the VO knows you are capable of supporting yourself financially.
Also, did you submit any evidence of relationship between you and your mum when applying?

No 1 question is are you using same bank you use to run your business to receive salary from the church and gifts too? They don't like it when you use your personal account for business because they need to know funds that is for you and fund that is for business.

Secondly, gifts you receive should be under additional regular income allowances/gifts from (family & friends). The total gifts in the account statement you are presenting is what you will write as what you get in a year.

It's going to be all over the place. Your statement will not look good.

May I suggest you have a dedicated account for your income from the Church. Another account for your income from your business. And another account for miscellaneous income. Separate these sources of income to avoid issues. Run your regular income account for a few months before you apply. You can present that account statement only if the income is substantial. If it is not, then add the statement of account from your business (but that will mean paying yourself a monthly salary from your business).

I hope this helps.

No. I have a separate business account. But I pay myself monthly from the business

That's good. Also explain in a letter 'financial explanation letter' what the credits into your account shown in the bank statement are. Eg I received my salary on this date. I received gift from someone on this date, etc.

I hope your business has active CAC too?

Yes I did, while saying I’ll spend £1k myself, would’ve just mentioned only myself but I figured it won’t be an issue since my bank statement shows I can fund myself, but lesson learned.

Yes I submitted evidence for my mum along with a court affidavit, and I filled it in the form as well.

killaskillz:

These reasons are not it and in my opinion are trivial, they just wanted to deny her.
If I were you, I would send in an official complaint via email and still prepare to do a Pre action protocol. Prepare a worded letter and complain about how frustrating it is for your mom not to be granted visit visa and all you provided and that her application was not looked at. You have to be serious in your complaints letter, not rude but let every word count.
Don’t also forget to mention all your taxes etc.. don’t let this refusal slide again as there is already a previous one to her name.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by killaskillz: 11:12pm On Nov 05, 2025
Please, how do I go about this? It's really frustrating because there was just one large deposit and I even attached the receipt for that.

Also, seeing that she was the one who applied, should the mail come from her or from me?
