The one he took against Liverpool was low stakes? 😳

In a match where the odds were against them, against a goalkeeper he knows he had missed the last time he faced him, in a match where he had just returned from injury and he's the main man expected to turn up for them?

High stake is nothing different from that sir 😌😌

Same Lookman that was spearheading our attack scoring goals during AFCON qualifiers is suddenly killing our attack because he didnt score in the last qualification rounds. SMH
Osimhen spearheaded our attack of Lookman. Osimhen didn't score goals be undecidedca

Abeg, when squad list go commot? Other countries don dey their release list o.

DR Congo mean business. Three former Belgium youth players don switch to play for them in the WC playoffs. On pape, DR Congo has a better squad than Cameroun and I tip them and Nigeria for the final.

See their full squad for the playoffs

Goalkeepers: Matthieu Epolo (Standard Liege, Belgium), Timothy Fayulu (Noah, Armenia), Lionel Mpasi (Le Havre, France)

Defenders: Rocky Bushiri (Hibernian, Scotland), Gédéon Kalulu (Aris Limassol, Cyprus), Steve Kapuadi (Legia Warsaw, Poland), Joris Kayembe (Racing Genk, Belgium), Arthur Masuaku (Sunderland, England), Chancel Mbemba (Olympique de Marseille, France), Axel Tuanzebe (Burnley, England), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (West Ham United, England)

Midfielders: Theo Bongonda (Spartak Moscow, Russia), Michel-Ange Balikwisha (Glasgow Celtic, Scotland), Edo Kayembe (Watford, England), Nathanael Mbuku (Montpellier, France), Samuel Moutoussamy (Atromitos, Greece), Ngal'ayel Mukau (Lille, France), Charles Pickel (Espanyol, Spain), Noah Sadiki (Sunderland, England), Mario Stroeykens (Anderlecht, Belgium)

Forwards: Cedric Bakambu (Real Betis, Spain), Samuel Essende (Augsburg, Germany), Brian Cipenga (Castellón, Spain), Meshack Elia (Alanyaspor, Turkey), Fiston Mayele (Pyramids, Egypt).
Cameroon that has Carlos Baleba, Frank Zambo Anguisa, Bryan Mbeumo, Etta-Young and Jackson Tchatchoou of Wolves? 🤣🤣. And Onana in goal? As bad as he is, he is good in African standard. He even shut down Osihmen yesterday in Turkish league

Why does everything revolve around Afcon. How about we talk about the matches we have played after Afcon? Why were we happy he got carded in the match against lesotho? How come we were able to score more than 2 goals post that match? How many goals did we score as a team? At the end of it all, I think it all comes down to how different our football philosophies are. While everyone may not agree with my point of view and while we may agree to disagree, still I gotta respect other views. Cheers to all Super Eagles fans
Nobody has criticized Lookman's footballing abilities because he's a good player. The fact however, is that he's selfish. Chukwueze too is selfish. But in this last game, he decided to be a team player, a supplier and he was very effective at doing that. In other matches, you see that first and second goal that came from his assist? Chukwueze would rather dribble to the post than be a supplier.

If Lookman can be a bit more unselfish he would be more deadly. When a team is made of unselfish attackers, more goals will be scored by more number of attackers.

I maintain that Osimhen and Iwobi are quite selfless. They don't mind not scoring so long as the team wins.

Lookman - Osimhen is the perfect partnership if they play to complement each other.

They should both assist each other where necessary. if any of them is selfish it would reduce the other, because they are both top strikers in their own right.
If we will speak the truth, Osimhen has no problem being a provider when the situation demands. It's on Lookman to be less selfish. Make we talk true.

Yes o. If the team plays unselfishly, it will be difficult to pin down one player. It will remove the burden from off Osimhen's shoulders

I read a story once about two brothers. They loved each other so much. At night brother A will secretly carry a bag of rice to brother B's house. Next day, brother B secretly carries a bag of beans to Bro A's house. Guess what? They both never lacked food.

Are you blind or something? lol! I could count 3 good chances Osimhen missed against GB from this highlight alone. There were two not shown here. Moses Simon gave the ball to Osimhen in 2v1 and he kicked it against the keeper. Go watch the full match oga! I don't argue without evidence! If you want to counter bring facts not summary! Ciao!

How many times have Chukwueze assisted Osimhen in the SE? You guys are too reactionary! Mention a time Osimhen was free and Lookman refused to pass compared to Chukwueze and Simon?
Mujtahida:
Can you count more? That's like a fraction of opportunities he gets. He is no doubt a good player but he should be less selfish.

The two most unselfish players in the SE are Osimhen and Iwobi.

CHUKWUEZE is actually the highest osimhen assistor in SE despite playing less games than all of them.

For the last time.... this is not about form!!!! it really is about decision making. No one wants Lookman removed. He should do more by playing for the team and not for himself. We (or lemme speak for myself) aren't even comparing him with other players. All we are saying is for him to be less selfish. The team should learn to play for one another. If you see a team mate with a better position to score, release the ball. That singular decision could be the only reason the team progresses. But if at all times, you also want to prove a point that you can also score, that's when you make weird decisions (which Lookman does a lot!!!). If na so Messi, Suarez and Neymar take do, we wont be talking about the efficiency of MSN.
