answered yes for health insurance, but I purchased it after I picked an interview date.
I used the city I intended to stay in + a random postcode in same city
For the dates, just choose a close estimate to when you can actually go if you get the visa.

Please Purpose of Visa is not Employment. You have to select 'other' and then you type 'Opportunity Card'

Please do they get to request for NPC attestation/certificate? Or one can just make use of the original birth certificate (hand written) issued by the local government, as at the same period the person was born?

If you were born after 1992, then you can submit your original birth certificate (hand written) if it was issued by NPC through your local govt. your birth cert must come from NPC. If the one issued by your local govt has Nation Population Commission as the Heading, then it is very okay, else you will need one from NPC. every other person born before 1992 will need an attestation letter from NPC, and the affidavit should be sworn by your father or Mother if father is deceased.

Just so everyone knows. The current total wait time is over a year, the preliminary review correction alone can take 4-6 weeks. So patience is needed if youre going through this method

How do you mean? At least those who joined the queue in April have been called for preliminary review. That's about 7 months. So, how did you come about the 1 year wait period?

I’m guessing he means the whole process. It gets slower by the day, except they increase pace. And he’s just saying y’all should be ready to be patient.
